Q: Does the Apple pencil cover come with a cap and different color pencil body?

Yes, I ordered the yellow body with the pink “eraser” cap. Both are silicone & identical thickness, just different colors. This will lead to slight separation on the Apple Pencil from time to time, but not nearly as often as you might think, thanks to the snug fit. I’ve had the same cover for my Apple Pencil, I use it daily; and I still have not experienced any degradation of the materials. For whatever it’s worth, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Q: Hi, does the double tap still work with the cover on? Or does the cover make that impossible?

So the double tap, and charge still both work. However, the double tap is worse than without the sleeve; but you can develop a trick, because it seems like you have to do the double tap slower for apple pencil to register it. The charging also works, but it has to be on the flat side on the pen, so sometimes it might be hard to feel it out, but does work.

Q: will the sleeve effect the charge?

If you have a case on your iPad with a compartment for the Apple Pencil, the pencil won’t charge with the pencil cover on.

Q: Has any of the colored ones (black, orange, blue, pink) stained your apple pencil? since apple pencil is white.

I have used the black cover with red tip for 2 months, 8-12 hours a day of illustration work with no stains on apple pencil.
