These are great allergen free dye free sprinkles! I love them! Use themOften. They do bleed a bit when baked in to cookies.

It did freak me out that there is no protective seal under the lid... you just screw on and off but its completely open otherwise. I went to the reviews to see other people say the same. Which makes me feel a bit better that it's not a result of a targeted contamination .... but it does leave room for that to happen.

Great substitute for sprinkles, however, not great for baking. They melt and do not give funfetti effect

We got these because they didn't have red40 and because the listing pictures specifically said "allergy friendly". I skimmed through the whole listing and apparently missed the tiny little part at the very bottom that said it wasn't allergy friendly. Shame on me for trusting their listing picture I guess. When it arrived, there's a big sticker slapped on the back that says it may contain most of the serious allergens - milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, wheat and "all other allergens". Why on earth would you advertise it as allergen friendly when it's clearly NOT recommended for anyone with any kind of allergies. Why not just be honest and say if you have any allergies at all, these are not the sprinkles for you? Ugh. Unable to get refund for their false advertising because it's a food item.
