My kid took on quite an interest in horses riding recently. Naturally we would want to get her a birthday gift that’s thematically horsey.This set of toy is quite well built. It’s rather sturdy and survived occasional drops quite well. My kid absolutely adores it and play with it every night before bed time.

The horse feels really sturdy, it is a good weight. There are small pieces for the horse and girl so this set is for older kids who don’t eat pieces. The horse and stable is suitable for smaller kids. The rider can be separated into several parts, this makes the girl more posable to ride the horse but may make the girl a choking hazard depending on the kid. There isn’t really a place to put all the little pieces in the stable.If you are a little rough the stable will come apart, it is easy enough to put together

Schleich items, though made in various countries including China, Portugal, Germany, and Vietnam, are definitely of great quality and VERY loved by all my kids! We own numerous horses which are played with and thoroughly enjoyed by my horse-loving daughter and her siblings. I do wish they were never made in China. Alas, they're totally worth it.
