This is a pretty decent ground sheet, it is not heavy-duty PVC so packs down light and does not take up too much space. It is about the same footprint as a 4M bell tent so I ordered it incase we ever have issues with our own ground sheet but I am now very tempted to make a second canvas "bell" without the sides and use this and a chill out area when we are camping. This will be an ideal ground sheet for that. Also if you have lots of bell tents in a ring as we have in the past at festivals this will be a great solution for the central space.All the seams are flat felled, double stitched and sealed with tape so will hopefully be water resistant, and the corner reinforcement is ok for a ground sheet, although im not sure how it would hold up as a fly sheet up in the air, but then I always double reinforce when making my own and probably over engineer them.

Although this product hasn't been used yet, that will happen later in the summer, it is a good quality product.The material is nice and thick, compared with many similar products that are almost paper thin. With it being thick it does mean it is more water proof thus keeping early morning due and / or dampness from the ground seeping through.This product can have many uses, from a groundsheet, when camping, for picnics, as a beach blanket, as an awning and even to cover some outdoor furniture.Apart from the good quality and thickness this product has another great advantage over many similar ones. It comes with ground pegs but they aren't the standard plastic or thin metal ones that bend easily and tend to come loose with the gentlest of breezes. This product comes with metal bars as pegs, that are strong, solid and will hold firm in the ground, without bending whatsoever.The first time this will come into use will be the second week of August, when we spend a night looking at the persoids meteor showers. This is ideal for that purpose as we can lay on it and gaze directly upwards for the best view.I am recommending this product as it is very good quality; made to a good standard, it's thick and strong, comes with very dtrong metal bar pegs and it is good value when considering the overall quality and how long it will potentially last.

I sent my tipi floor back it let water through too easily and its thin ,in my opinion it would be better as a shelter as its that kind of material,not good for a floor though.

A sizeable tarp and relatively thick as well. It will (hopefully) serve us well when camping this summer. I hope that there is a distinct lack of rain and we don’t need it. Unfortunately, camping in Northumberland means that we probably will get some rain! It will be useful to have this for sitting outside the tent whilst preparing dinner.It’s got a decent weight to it and is in a medium sized package. This isn’t for backpacking. It’s certainly aimed more at car camping, where you’ve got the capability to transport your paraphenalia in the back of the car without worrying about weight.

Tarps are one of these items that's unimportant until you need one.You get an 8 sided ground sheet (Tarp) with pegs which can be used any whereYou want to avoid getting damp. Picnics, Camping, shower protection. etc etc.It's always when you need one you wish you'd thought a bit more where your going.It's small and flat to store and I leave one in the car all the time. Even having to changea tyre etc it helps save your clothing getting mucky.Fairly heavy for it size it feels strong enough for the job.All cars etc should have one as standard equipment.

Had this set up in the garden to test the water proof and general structure of this. It done absolutely amazing and will be taking it for sure on our next camping trip or even to take up the caravan and use as an side canopy.Very strong heavy duty material with solid elasticated string that pulls through the tabs and they really do hold their own. Packs up fairly small and isn't overly heavy due to its size either so win win in my opinion.

This tarp/footprint/groundsheet can be used in a variety of ways and the best of all it can be used to make a shelter if you are wild camping and need some cover.As the patch is only small and as it is only a tent footprint size tarp it means you can be sure to use it if you go ultra light camping. Really great ties too... brilliant all rounder.

This has a nice balance between quality, robustness and weigh/package size. It looks and feels like ti will last well and will not just start to break up during use. I try to use a ground sheet with all mud tents and usually the official foot prints are pretty pricey so this offers good value. Very happy so far.
