how thick is the table top?

About one inch, its very strong.

Is there Formaldehyde in this table ?

I do not smell anything unusual about the table. It has now been here in my living room since I recently purchased, no odor.

Do you need a power drill ?

My husband put it together. He did not need a drill but he did use a type of power thing to put the screws in tight. I don’t think you would have to have one. He had one and it was easier to use it. You could just use a screw driver.

Reviews say it comes with parts missing & the buyer has to ship the product back to get a replacement. Has this issues been corrected?

The bottom was missing than the next day it arrived. Tracking says it comes in one package, but it comes in two packages.
