I ordered the thread/pre-wound bobbins along with my new Brother machine and am satisfied with it overall, especially the color selection and bobbin case. However one bobbin was unusable due to multiple tangled threads that will have to be cut off and rewound from the matching thread included in the order. Otherwise it’s a good deal and very convenient having thread and bobbin ready to go for first use with new machine.

Great value for money. I can't speak on quality, cos I'm not an expert, but a beginner. I did notice that some threads had more than others(see second last picture) and one bobbin was very badly made. (See last picture) I love the box the bobbins come in. The bobbins fit my machine perfectly! I think it's a Brother LX3817. Ive added pictures of it. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm happy with them. Great variety of colors. I don't think you'd need more than these colors.

The thread does fuzz quite a bit causing fuzz in the machine and air to be higher (especially noticed when vacuuming after a couple hours of sewing and more fuzz than with other thread), and I have had the thread break during sewing multiple times. I bought two boxes and kept one, but returned the other because it was causing a lot of extra dust in the machine and air, as well as some breakage. I will say that the variety of colors and the fact that it has the matching spool and bobbin with the bobbins in a nice container make this set worth the low price if you are doing a small simple project. I have been using this thread for doll clothes, and a bit plus is that I can find a color to match almost all my fabrics. Just be aware that the thread is not the top of the line for quality, in case that is what your project requires.
