DVD COFFRET ASTRID _

First of all, this is a great mystery series with standout acting and character development, and imaginative storytelling. It’s one of my favorite shows.I especially appreciated getting this dvd set as I studied French intensively in my college days, but never got a chance to practice what I’d learned. I’m enjoying watching this charming show with French subtitles and find that (with the help of the subtitles), I can follow along with decent comprehension.For me, these dvd’s provide a French language refresher course in a very entertaining way.Although - helas - I will still probably never get to use my hard-won French proficiency in a real-world situation, it’s great fun to be able to practice it this way.It was also fun to receive an Amazon package from Lyon, France! It took about two weeks to get to my home, but that’s to be expected with an international shipment, and it arrived in perfect condition.

I just don’t understand why there hasn’t been an English subtitled version offered for sale. As soon as an English subtitled version is available I’ll grab it.The actress who plays Astrid is fantastic and all the relationships with the other characters is wonderful.
