Works as described. My car doesn’t doesn’t support wireless CarPlay and have a USB-C port so the OEM cable was not compatible. This resolved the cable issue for a low cost. It charges as well as the OEM charger. Length is about 3 feet, so not too much to deal with in the car. Quality seems much better than a gas station knock off. Very happy with this. If I ever needed to purchase again, I will buy the same.

I upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro. We have plenty of lightning cables so I bought an adapter to convert lightning to USB-C. However, the adapter does not work on 100% for CarPlay. Apparently there are power adapters and data cables. Everything works fine now. This cable is a good length and it seems sturdy.

Had to buy this cable just to get my new 16 + proI-phone to work with CarPlay. Once my automobile recognized this new phone with this cable, CarPlay now works. For some reason the new iPhones connect to CarPlay terribly so you need this cable directly wired to the car for it to be able to work again. Good luck!
