Spilled screws; messy problem! If you have a MUTUACTOR Lifting Magnet; no problem ;-)
If you are as clumsy as I am then perhaps you frequently spill screws, bolts, sheet metal trimmings, and even tools all over your shop floor. That is not appreciated if your shop is also your garage. Self-tapping screws can quickly become a nasty problem when rolled over by a $300 tire. A $45 clamp can slide under a workbench or vehicle.Professional shops tackle the small stuff with a bulky, expensive “magnetic broom” to sweep the shop floor every night. Dropped tools call for a strong flexible back. Well I have neither, so I put a long handle on the MUTUACTOR Strong Manual Magnetic Lifting Handle. Its 80 lb lifting force is about 50 times the pull of an industrial magnetic sweeper. My wife is very grateful and so is my back.PS: Now that I've been using my magnetic sweeper / lifter every day in my garage wood shop, I can say it is much more useful than I imagined. Pulling dropped wrenches and nuts out of awkward dark corners is a breeze. So is picking up steel construction cover plates on our foundation addition. Best of all, I find every single one of those dangerous sharp screws I occasionally drop.————————Sharing is life’s greatest joy

Strong magnet. One point taken off for claiming it can pick up nails.
It can pick up nails, sure, but it won't release them. I thought this might be the case, but wanted to make sure. The release mechanism is simply a collar that slides forwards. If the collar was covered with a plate of some kind, then the surface of the plate would break free of the magnet, releasing the content. But as it is, unless your metal item is rigid and spans the entire width of the magnet, the collar will do nothing to release it.Maybe I'll make my own plate lid for the collar, to make this an effective tool for quickly picking up spilled nails and screws. The other thing I was curious about is the magnetic field shape. From spreading some iron filings it becomes clear that the strongest field is around the plastic insert. The inner magnet face is North and the entire ring around it is another magnet whose face is South (Or maybe that's reversed, but you get the point). So it makes a ring of attraction around the center magnet. Pretty effective. I was able to pull the magnet off a steel plate without using the release, but it took some work. Maybe equivalent to 50 pounds? Just an estimate.Anyway, it seems strong and well built. Now, the only question left is where should I store it?

Strong magnet
The handle with the lift release lever is convenient for one handed use. For larger metal items, it would be best to use two magnets so I will be ordering another one for my husband. Great tool for lifting and carrying heavy metal items.

Handy tool, strong magnet. Easy release.
The media could not be loaded. This has a comfortable handle which will make lifting easier. It releases easily when the handle is squeezed.I used a digital scale to test it and it held almost 40# before coming loose. This was on sheet metal, so I am guessing it’s even stronger on more solid steel.

Not as strong as I expected, but still useful
The listing should include the pull/ lifting strength. Not as strong as I was hoping for. I wanted to use this tool as a handle for an old metal cabinet that has lost its handle. It works, but I have to be careful when pulling or it lets go. If you're not looking to pick up or pull on really heavy things (I would guess ~30lbs), it might suit your needs. The release handle works well and the surface that contacts the metal is rubber-coated, so it doesn't mar. It's a good product, just not a great product. I'd likely feel differently if the product listing had "forewarned me" of the strength.
