Q: How long once not plugged in will the food stay warm or hot?

Hi. It is somewhat insulated, but has a plastic lid that doesn’t seal completely, so I going to guess and say 15 minutes to a half an hour. But that’s a guess. Never tried it.

Q: Will this make noise when it’s done? I’m taking it to a school setting and don’t want it to disturb others when it’s done cooking

No, it does not; it's not a cooker, per se. It's just supposed to warm up your food. When it's plugged in, it heats. When it's not plugged in, it doesn't. It has a light while its on, but it doesn't make any sounds ever. And it heats things very well--too well if you ask me. If it's heating a rice dish or casserole or vegetables, etc., it will scorch the food at the bottom of the pan if you leave it on too long. I put a damp paper towel under other foods (burritos, corn dogs, etc.) to keep them from getting toasted on the bottom. So, yeah, you might be able to slow cook a small roast or something, but I don't think this was the intent for this product. It's an okay electric lunch box for the price, and it's more convenient than going to our breakroom microwave, but honestly, I'm not really impressed.

Q: Judging from the product introduction, it can be used in homes and cars. I want to know if this is true?

We bought it as a gift and tested it on 110V which worked fine. Haven't heard how well it did on 220V or the car adapter it came with.

Q: Is the quality of this lunch box good?How long can it be used？

I don’t think it’s the best one you could buy, but for the price we have been very satisfied for my husbands use - for heating leftovers for his work lunch.
