524 600mg Ultra-Pure Guaifenesin Veg. Capsules (Includes 24 Size Travel Bottle)

I have lung damage that will never be "cured", likely from a childhood bacterial infection, so I have to keep my lungs clear and clean as best I can. I've tried several brands - 400 mg and had to take at least 4 - 5 a day - more than what is usually taken for a common cold or cough. I've also had prescription guaifenesin which was terribly expensive and didn't work any better, so I thought I'd try this... 600 mg, so I need only take 3 a day. It works the best of all of the ones I've tried - it's a single pure ingredient - and because they are capsules they are extremely easy to swallow, not like those big pills with the sharp edges that always want to go down sideways and make me gag! I highly recommend these and the price is the best I've seen anywhere plus it comes with that little extra bottle, so I just keep refilling it while keeping the larger one in cool storage til needed.All I can say is... good thing I never took up smoking - probably wouldn't be writing this review ;-)

I was taking three 400 mg tablets twice daily. The tablets were big and round. Big and round is harder to swallow than, say, big and oblong. I didn't like the dosage or shape of them and then I could not get them anymore from the supplier. After searching for a while I found these on Amazon. Love the capsule and they are 600 mg, so only have to take two twice daily. But the most important feature is the price! Figuring the price by the mg and number of capsules, these are priced lower than any others that I have found. I gave up on Mucinex years ago. The difference is unwarranted it seems to me. If Mucinex is better (if) it isn't that much better.If you have a chronic respiratory problem, you may need to take this every day as my PCP finally made me understand. I would take it awhile and then stop. It didn't work that way for me. My understanding is that Guaifenesin does not conflict with other medications. Let me say again, that is MY understanding. Also allow me to stress that one needs to drink lots of liquids to help it work.

There are a few different choices for guaifenesin. Guai-Aid had the best overall price per pill and it does what I want it to.

I take this to help with lymphatic fluid and have been very pleased with this brand and product. I have been taking it since Jan 2019 and have had excellent results with my lymphedema swelling being dramatically reduced. I prefer this brand generic as it has the least amount of fillers and other products in the capsule which is important to me as I am very sensitive to medications and/or supplements. The quality and consistency of this product has not changed in the 4+ years that I have been using it which again is very important to me. Def recommend.

I love the quality and quantity for the price. For me the capsules are very large, and not easy to swallow, but I just take my time, swallow one capsule at a time and drink plenty of water. My doctor prescribed 2xs daily use, so I have to take them to alleviate mucous because of COPD. Even with this large capsule, I prefer these to caplets and any other brand used prior. It us a "must have" item for the last few years, I'm glad I found them the savings compared to others is amazing.

I use this product to alleviate the discomforts of Fibromyalgia as suggested by Dr. St. Amand in his book. I have been using it for about 12 years. It is quite effective and I highly recommend this perfectly safe drug to anyone. It is completely harmless, as all of my doctors have told me, and it is inexpensive. I hope it will never be taken off the market. A lot of people with fibro are depending upon its availability. My husband also uses it for thinning thick mucous. I have been using this product for year's and it works as described.

One fourth of the price of Mucinex. Not bad, but not as good as Mucinex. Although they have the same active ingredient, it seems like Mucinex was better. I'm going to stick with Guai-Aid mainly because of the price.
