Excellent stand.
Having recently purchased a high end acoustic guitar I wanted a better stand than the budget ones I had been using. This stand did not disappoint. It feels rugged and very stable with substantial padding at all contact points. It’s not cheap but is well worth the money.

Great quality stand!
This isn't my first Hercules stand. The first one I bought is still in perfect condition after ten years. This type of stand is essential for those 'odd' shaped basses/guitars ie, Thunderbird, Jazz etc as the guitar hangs from the headstock rather than the base of the guitar resting on a platform. I treated myself to a new Jazz bass, so needed another stand, and I didn't even consider any other brand. The Hercules (as mentioned) supports the guitar from the headstock, it also has a great system that closes two little bars/gates across the headstock when you hang the guitar on it which prevents it from being knocked off the stand. They also fold up nicely into a small manageable size. They are also can be adjusted to a good height and will easily accommodate my Thunderbird bass which is VERY long. Yes, I guess they are a little pricey, but consider the price of a good quality instrument - you don't want to take a chance with anything other than a top quality stand.

Great guitar stand
Quality free standing guitar stand and pleased I got this over a cheaper one. The base is wide when open but not excessively wide. The material used feels like strong steel and padded legs for the base of the guitar to sit on, so over all I satisfied it is safe to use and with the "auto locking head" piece it makes up a good choice for me.

Great bit of kit!
Simply the best purchase I've made all year! Assembled in 2 secs and works perfectly. Very sturdy, I can see this lasting me a lifetime! Highly recommend for anyone who loves their guitar and wants it to hand at home or on stage.

Great hanging stand
Well this was bigger/taller than the stand it was replacing. But then the guitar, or bass in my case, has to hang from the top of it. Hanging the instrument means that the shape of the body can be irregular ( like a Jazz bass) without it tilting on the stand. Usual Hercules quality. Recommended.

Great for Dingwall
This stand works great for Dingwall NG3’s,My bass is looks fantastic on this stand the build quality is great and has amazing stability. The height is adjustable and can fold flat. I love this stand for all these reasons. It has attachments that allow me to double it up as a banjo stand too.

If you like your guitars buy these
Very sturdy and won’t dump your guitar on the floor at the slightest provocation unlike the really rubbish ones. Worth the bit extra.

Great studio stand
Great stand. Strong and holds guitar securely. Two drawbacks though. It is heavy. Great in the studio but not a gig stand to be carried around at a festival for instance. Secondly, again related to portability, the fixed curved neck means that although the stand can be folded down neatly and the height can be adjusted easily, it will not fit into the gig bag easily without the head sticking out at an angle from the bag
