I've been using this kettle for 2 weeks now and I really think it's the best value for money kitchen appliance I've bought recently.I originally thought the “temperature control kettle” was a gimmick, but this kettle has completely broken my prejudice. Its seven-stage temperature control is a blessing for tea lovers - I use it to brew Longjing at 80 ℃, and 90 ℃ when I drink oolong, so I don't have to wait for the water to cool down, and I'm not afraid of the high temperature destroying the aroma of the tea.Another surprise for me is its safety design. The pot is a double-layer structure, the outer layer is matte plastic, hand touch even if just boiled will not be hot; lid is also a two-stage open, gently press the first through a bit of air, and then open to the full open bit, to avoid the steam rushed to the face - the design is too detailed.The spout is smooth, without that “thud” splash. Cleaning is not a hassle, I use white vinegar about once a week to simply remove the scale.

The kettle itself works great and I'm thrilled to have something that heats the water so fast. As far as I can tell, if the kettle is to the "max" water mark, the temps are really accurate. I also that it has different temp settings and will keep the kettle at a consistent temp for about 30 mins after your initial pour. The one thing I don't like is the inability to change the set temperatures. They have coffee set for 185 degrees, but I do a french press and I really need the coffee to be about 190-195 for the best results. So i usually will hit the next highest temp (205) and when the temp reading says 190, on it's way up to 205, I pull it off and pour then. Not a big deal but I'd like to set it and forget it if possible...

I LOVE this teapot and would like to buy a second one for the kitchen. Yep! That’s right: the kitchen. This one is on my bathroom vanity so I can have warm water fast for washing my face. I was tired of how long it takes our bathroom sinks to get hot water, and it’s so wasteful! I set this at the lowest temp, but I turn it off when it hits 75-80 which is so much faster than waiting for it through the tap. I’ve boiled water in this teapot and carried it out to the kitchen to make herbal tea several times, and while the steps are good for my, I’m not the only one needs to boil water. It makes my regular teapot obsolete. The only thing that’s stopped me from buying a second pot is that white hasn’t been available. I like how this looks and like the digital temp, because it’s easy to see.
