Powerful for the size
I wanted some more bass without all the extra weight of a normal sub. I put 2 of these in a custom ported box that fits right in the back seat of my mustang. The total weight is about 11lbs (I used 1/4” mdf board for the box. Not ideal but light weight)This was the perfect about of bass for me; especially since the box is close to me while driving. I went from a 2000rms 12” ct sounds sub to these 2 little subs and don’t regret it at all. I might add 2 more on the other seat but haven’t made up my mind yet.

6.5 subwoofer aren't a joke....got lots of complements ones it was on.....
Ok....here is the best 6.5 subwoofer, it sounds great, it looks very well put together, I have a Ford sport trac and there's no room for anything. I build a ported box with the expectations for it and it sounds amazing. ..

Terrible Quality Control
*Scroll to the bottom for my update*1 star* ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was excited to get these suckers in, but was disappointed soon after. I had a custom box built for 8 of them. They looked great in the box, but sounded terrible. Quality Control is something that has to be done properly and Massive Audio doesn't do QC well. One of the 8 subwoofers had the positive wire soldered in to the negative terminal which lead me to a lot of aggravation and troubleshooting. After pulling every subwoofer out and rewiring them, I found the issue on the last dang one. I fixed it and all was fine.Over the period of a month, the sound quality went down drastically. I did figure out why the SQ was no longer there along with hardly any SPL. I decided to take one of the subs out and inspect it, so I peeled off the rubber ring and what I saw blew my mind! About 60% of the foam surround wasn't even glued down. I took every one of them out and they were all like that. 1 of them was over 90% unglued.Massive Audio, please fix this issue immediately. Use a different type of glue and stay on top of QC. This is completely unacceptable! If you buy these subwoofers, please inspect the surrounds before installing them. I'd check all Massive Audio subwoofer and speakers before installing them - save yourself the headache.3.5-4 stars**** UPDATED REVIEW: I used a foam glue to fix the subwoofers. I left the rubber gaskets off just in case it happens again. They actually look beefier without them. I'm in the process of upgrading my electrical (270 amp alternator, big 3 with all OFC wire [even speaker wires] and adding in an AGM battery or 2 in the trunk. I haven't played them in a few months. I'm adding 8 more, so I'll have 16 of them in an FR-S on a Massive Audio 8000.1D. I'll update this once it's all done and adjust my review accordingly.

Garbage, self destructs, will not honor product defect, I'm contacting Amazon
Do not buy from this manufacturer, I've hardly used this sub and it's already torn itself. it's spent less than a year in my car with collectors plates, I've hardly even driven the car.Cheap foam surround gasket is the weak link. The custom rubber their talking about does nothing but make mounting the sub a pain in the butt. Again the rubber their talking about is useless, it's for aesthetics and nothing else, most of what their talking about can't even be seen once mounted.I will never buy from them again, -5 stars, beware

Little speaker, BIG thump
These little critters far exceeded my expectations. Had them installed in a custom box for my PT Cruiser. SKAR 500 watt amp pushing them. BOOM! Like they say, size doesn't matter, all long as you put the right power behind them. Recommended.

Awsome little sub
This little sub is awsome it has nice deep bass (when the box is built to spec) with lots of excursion for being only a 6.5in subwooferMy setup is a .5 cubic foot box fosgate 6in door speakers and gravity 6x9s in the rear in a 97 honda accord
