7th Heaven Cucumber Peel Off Masque, 10 ml

I have been using this brand for several years now and it's been my skin "go to" when I need a refresh. The mask has a very pleasant scent and it's cooling to the skin upon application. I usually cleanse with the mud mask, and then follow with the peel off mask. My skin comes out soft and smooth with all pores cleansed thoroughly. Ivory soap and Montagne Jeunesse is all you need for a soft smooth hydrated face!

I have to say I was shocked when I read the other two reviews. I have oily and extremely sensitive skin. I picked this masque as the first of theirs to try. I was so excited! I have to say when I first started putting it on my face the smell was strong and my one eye watered a little bit, but as i continued to put it on i got used to it and eventually it did not seem as strong. I had no issues pealing it off my face, it actually pealed off as one whole piece with holes for my mouth nose and eyes. Instantly my skin looked firm and pore less. I don't wear much make up but I was glad to read that one reviewer said her make up went on smoother. I imagine that would be the case for me too!I suggest using the mud masque as well, i put it on and pop in a meditation CD, it is like a spa at home!I also suggest going to the web site, they have different masques and some especially for sensitive skin types.Enjoy!

I've tried a lot of Montagne Jeunesse masks lately and I think this is my favorite of the peel-off masks. (Normally I have better luck with the mud masks than the peel-off masks.)There's enough in here for two applications if you use it sparingly and clip the package closed. Or, you can do a single application and cover more area (like the neck and under the chin). I chose to do a single application. You simply squeeze the gel out of the packet and apply it to your face. Be sure to use a thin layer (a very thick layer won't dry properly, trust me). I'd also advise waiting the full 20 minutes for better results. (If you don't wait long enough, it won't dry and you won't be able to peel it off.)This does not particularly smell like cucumber and it seems to have some dyes in it (bright green colored gel). But it did not irritate my skin. I think it did a nice job at lightly exfoliating and shrinking my pores. If you have had trouble with harsher chemical peels, this was pretty gentle for me and might work for you, too.This one is much less messy than a mud mask. I did have a little trouble getting it off at the very edges of my face (didn't dry as well) but I always use these before I get in the shower, so I just rinsed off the excess there. (But most of it peeled off in one or two large pieces.)

I received this product for free in return for my honest review.It was very easy to pull the masque off. Didn’t hurt at all. After peeling off all the pieces I washed my face. The first thing I noticed was how soft my face felt. I didn’t see any dramatic difference but my skin did feel a lot softer.

This mask works great, but $22?? I got it for a friend at I think Claire's for $3. This is just a rip-off. Go to Claire's, it works just as well and is WAAAAYYYY cheaper.

I tried this on a whim instead of my favorite black pearl mask. It had a rather unpleasant chemical smell, didn't cover my face very well, and left my T-zone just as oily as before. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I have used this product for years now. I cannot compare it with anything else as I have not tried any other peel off like this. My experience with this product is very positive.I do think I have an oily sensitive skin. I have experienced a bit of tingling when applying the mask, but nothing exceptionally uncomfortable compared to let's say the sea minerals mask of the same brand. I never thought the product odor to be offensive or displeasing. Even though I do have a strong sense of smell. The color makes it easy to apply. You can't be too generous with the product as there is just enough to cover your face per pocket. However, I think the thin layer does the job. Right away with the application, you can feel your skin relaxing & a soothing feeling definitely comes with it, at least in my experience. I tend to leave the mask on for a good amount of time, usually until I feel my skin tensing up with the drying mask. It is ready to peel off when you move your facial muscles & the edges of the mask come off by themselves. I did one mask just before writing this review, & again as usual, the whole mask comes off in one piece. I am a male, & I have facial hair. It is not fun if you get it in your hair. But I find that gently rubbing in circles the remnants of the mask caught up in hair will come off fairly easily. I see results on my skin right away. It is softer, relaxed, free of dead skin, & just feels clean. I overall feel relaxed & poised. Results from using product might not be the same for everyone, but I do recommend to at least try it a couple times before you make your mind. For me, it is a great product. I have given it 4 stars, only because I cannot compare it to other similar products, so it would be improper to give it 5 stars.

Normally I like Montagne Jeunesse's products, but this one is a definate no for me. I like the way it goes on, but the smell is awful. Almost an alcohol smell and not pleasant at all. Peeled off just fine, but unfortunately, my skin is more sensitive than I realized as I am now red, dry, flaky & splotchy. Not a pleasant experience all around for me.
