Roku Streaming Stick HD 2025 — HD Streaming Device for TV with Roku Voice Remote, Free & Live TV

For years friends have tried to get me to buy one of these. After having down time post surgery, I caved. And boy am i glad that I did! Im not a tech virgin nor a pro, however even the most inept individual can install this Roku. I could have done it in my sleep, it was so easy. Set up took mere moments once I got past the stoopid "Im not a robot" click tests. That was ridiculous but not the worst thing that I've ever been thru. It literally took 15-20 mins to get everything set up and running. Now if I just had a better set of eyes and could see the words on the screen better...lol. Boo, Im old. The remote is easy to understand and work, fits well in your average sized hands, and is very nice looking. It connected lickity-split and the streaming quality (paired with Starlink) is fluid and without any lag, freezing, or stuttering so far. The Roku was a fantastic deal and was as described in the ad. Im extremely pleased so far. (Day 1)

Great remote it gives me access to my Direct TV, my apps and to streaming other streaming TV apps. Easy to setup with the HDMI cable included. The remote comes with batteries and it works well with a little effort. The sound is flat however I think a sound bar will help. The streaming quality is very good. The design is sleek and easy to maneuver.

Excellent. Works perfect with Spectrum, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Apple TV. Easy to navigate. No issues so far.

I ordered the Roku 4K Streaming Stick from Amazon to upgrade my older TV, and it completely transformed the way I watch shows. Streaming in 4K is crisp and vibrant, especially on platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Even non-4K content looks sharp and loads fast, with minimal buffering.One thing I love is the Roku interface — it’s clean, simple, and easy to navigate. The included remote is compact and responsive, with dedicated buttons for popular apps. Voice control works surprisingly well too.It’s also super portable. I’ve brought it with me on trips and just plugged it into hotel TVs to stream my own shows, which is a huge bonus.

I need a replacement for my first generation fire stick. Amazon generously offered a replacement with a discount but it still was too pricey and more importantly it seemed too fancy to go on a 10 year old TV. In the past my newer replacement Amazon firesticks didn't work well with older TVs. This Roku one fills the bill. Easy set up, has the apps I want. It isn't overkill and I got it at an exceptionally good price. Hulu and Netflix work. I find myself gravitating more towards smart fire or roku tvs. But if you have an older, non smart TV without all the bells and whistles, this works.

A feature is to be able to control the power on/off as well as volume of the TV after making some settings changes which is easy. Sometimes though I still need to reach for my TV remote to control those, don't know if it misses connections or what. Other than that, it is a good streaming device., Connected it to HDMI port and the USB for power. You also have to sign up and give private info, don't think it'll let you get around that. It's free, don't need to pay for you to use Prime or Max or netflix. My TV is older so it's a relief it actually works with it./ No battery. Easy to setup and use. Device is responsive to the remote. Remote has easy UI./

We use this for an older tv that isn’t a smart tv.Prior to buying the Roku stick, we were using a google one and it was just awful. It never worked and would reset 3 times before actually staying on the shows we would try to watch. The Roku one is waaaay better and hasn’t caused any issues whatsoever. The remote is nice and easy to use. Haven’t had any issues with WiFi connectivity. However, it would be nice to be able to sync the remote up to my sound bar so I could control the volume through there and not have to use 2 remotes.

Received this Roku SKU# 3840R today. I was replacing an older model that did not support some applications. The remote comes with installed batteries. The supplied cable has two ends ( usb-c and hdmi). The usb-c plugged into the Roku Stick and the hdmi plugged into the matching tv port. Installation was guided by appropriate prompts (on-screen setup). I needed my network password. Popular apps populated. I was able to move my favorites to the top of the screen very easily.
