The "finned" part of the light is a hair over one inch and will fit into a mount as long as it's not more than 5/8" wide. That is the space from the bottom of the clip and the furthest back on the zoom so it will operate properly. So, you could mount this one a weapon I'd say .223 max and you'd be taking a chance on a shotty 12ga.

Yes, but I would recommend running the 18650 battery as the capacity far exceeds the 14500. Also if yours came with that little plastic sleeve make sure your using that around your battery.
