This barn door hardware worked great and supports a heavy wooden door. The info says it can support up to 300 pounds, although our door is no where near that heavy. The metal looks great, has everything you need to put it together, including the stops which make sure it does not let the door slide off. Very good price as well, would buy again.

Instructions could be easier but if you have common sense then its easy. Very well packaged with optional accessories to fit your need. Well constructed and heavy, solid steel and rollers. No wobbles or gaps. Make sure you tighten the door stops tight, the Allen Key is not the best so use a good one.

Very good , on time but customers should know that hanger is not 1 continous piece.

Positive - Nice looking product out of the box. Most of the internal packaging, hardware and fittings arrived in good shape.Neutral - Instruction manual not too difficult to followbut could use clearer word choices and more accurate step-by-step guide. Suggestions... include a short 2- minute how-to video link. Since this was my first double door install, I went to YouTube to find helpful how-to videos.Negative - 3 out of the 4 door stops had not been properly machined, and required extra machining to fit on the flat bar. 2 out of the 7 wood lag bolt tips unable to penetrate the wood stud, requiring me to drill a pilot hole. Cardboard box could use some additional reinforcement at both ends of box. My box arrived partially open at one end.

Quality and value

When the box arrived, the cardboard was absolutely wrecked, but luckily, the contents were encased in foam and suffered no damage at all. I found the directions to be *mostly* accurate as far as steps; there was one that was out of order but otherwise, this was a breeze to install. I am pleased with how it all looks and the sturdiness of the everything.I built my own doors and didn't really think about where the hangers were attached; I just attached them in the middle of the vertical bars... and well... with the center bumpers on the track installed there is a 2.5" gap that I'll be filling at a later date (these are a work in progress). I may end up finding a different solution for the center bumper, one that doesn't stick out so far from the middle.This is not an issue with the product, so much as an issue with the builder (me).I also don't love that the floor guide requires a groove to be cut in the bottom of the doors, I would have preferred something like a C-channel, but that's just me.Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

I am really happy with this sliding rail set. I made my own custom door. While I did not weigh the door, it probably weighs around 100 pounds and this set seems to be well sturdy enough for it. I had a 42 in wide door for a 39 inch opening, and I chose this 96 in (8 ft) rail. I probably could have gone with a 7 ft rail, but I dont mind the extra railing. The door I made is 2.5 inches thick, which is much thicker than the max recommended thickness. I was able to make it work with buying longer hardware and cutting some of the thickness from the top on the back side so the door wouldn't scrape the trim piece mounted to the wall, but I would not recommend going thicker than the max 1.75 inch thickness. The installation instructions say to use a solid wood back plate to mount the rail on, which fixes the 20 inch hole spacing complaints other reviews had. I also found the issue other reviews talked about for the top hole for the door hanger mounts NOT being 1.4 inches as shown in the instructions. I think I ended up using 1.75 inches, which is what another review had recommend, which worked well.I like the keyed center seam, which works really well. The hangers roll very quietly and smoothly. The rail stops have little rubber bumpers that quietly stop the door. I didn't like the base piece, so I purchased a roller piece for the base. Nothing wrong with it, I just liked the roller look at the base.I feel like it is a nice looking rail set that works really well. I would definitely purchase it again.

I have not had a chance to install it yet because I have not built the door yet however by looking at it I can assure you it's going to work perfect
