This thing has some serious pop! Much more powerful than I would have expected in this tiny little handheld Nerf gun.My kids love chasing pellets when my husband shoots his large Nerf gun. Our little guy was begging for his own blaster for his 4th birthday. I got him this one, hoping that the small size would be easier for him to load and to shoot. While the size is fine for his little hands, the mechanism to load it is still a little too stiff and tricky for him to do solo. Probably more for a 6 or 7 year old. That's OK though...we have a blast doing it together.This blaster only holds one pellet at a time. You pull the plunger down (that's the stiff and tricky part), put the pellet in the chamber and it's ready to shoot. It easily shoots across the length of our living room and would go much farther. It's winter so we haven't tested it outside yet to see just how far it will go.This is pretty tiny. It would be a good stealth shooter. Since it only holds one 'round', it probably wouldn't be great for an epic Nerf blaster battle. But we've had a great time with it!

The best nerf gun to buy. Super cheap. Shoots really well and consistently. My kids can cock the gun very easily. On larger nerf guns my 4 year old sometimes has trouble so this is perfect. Also because it's small there is not the problem with the larger guns when you sweep around a corner and kids accidently hit eachother in the face with the larger type guns. The single load is also a plus because during a Nerf battle my kids aren't yelling "time out" to reload their 6/12/50 shooter.

We gave different Mini N-Strike guns to all the kids (and big kids) for Christmas morning. This one was the 'weakest' and some darts got stuck in the barrel. Not as accurate or as fun as the other 5 purchased. Perhaps best for the littlest kiddos.

I bought Jolts (and extra darts, bandanas, and eye protection) as favors, and for the kids to use during Nerf Wars, at my Son's birthday party. Although the Jolt is not large, it shoots very well at a long distance. It also happens to be the easiest Nerf gun to cock, so good for the younger kids who may have trouble cocking the larger Nerf guns.

Awesome dart gun. wish it came with more darts (3 included) but bought in bulk on amazon and saved.a little hard to pull back for a 4 yr old, but after a few times she gets the idea and does it by herselflove watching her face as she knocks bottles off the table from across the room

Don't listen to the scoffers who disrespect this little gem because of its size; these little guns shoot much better than most of the unmotorized guns with the sole disadvantage of being a single shot.
