DP to HDMI NOT HDMI TO DP - PATHETIC!!
This cable won't work if the source is swapped. I searched for an HDMI to DP cable, Amazon recommended this, and I bought it. This cable is DP to HDMI and not working if I connect HDMI to my source output.

IT FIXED ALL MY PROBLEMS
I HAD A RENEWED DELL OPTIPLEX PC WITH A VIEWSONIC NEW MONITOR. THE VGA CABLE DIDNT WORK AND I GOT BLURRED DISPLAY WITH IT AND WHENEVER I PRESSED ANY OTHER SWITCH AT MY HOUSE THE MONITOR WENT OFF FOR A SECOND. THIS CABLE FIXED ALL MY PROBLEMS, I GET CRYSTAL CLARITY AND VERY HIGH DEFINITION WITH GOOD FPS ON GAMES LIKE GTAV. WOULD RECOMMEND TO BUY IF YOUR VGA CABLE IS NOT WORKING. VERY GOOD PRODUCT

Best Display Port to HDMI Converter/Cable
I tried a bunch of Others who were supposedly "BEST", all of the had either loose connection at the display port or it completely didnt work, but this. Fits perfectly, no loose connection, worked the first time I connected it to a monitor. If you are looking for Display Port to HDMI converter with HDMI having female port, get a female to female HDMI adapter. Amazon Basics has one.
