I have several dresses and tops that refuse to stay on their hangers. I bought velvet hangers hoping this would offer some more grip but it did not. So I saw these clips and bought them to clip on the top of the hangers to hold my clothing in place and they work like a dream. However other hangers are too thick to take these clips but luckily I have several packs of the black velvet hangers and have eradicated the falling clothes problem.

Happy overall as they are being used for thinner material clothing, although they are tight they won't open wide enough for thicker materials and jeans. You need to ensure you place them in the exact position you want for your clothing as they will rip the velvet from your hanger if you try to move or remove them, which happened to me, and you need to consider the amount of space between the top of the hanger and the top off the clip to ensure you have enough room to pinch the top to open then.

I was so hopeful for these so I ignored all the bad reviews... 2 of them arrived broken and the third broke the second I tried to get it off the packaging, they don't open very far, but that's okay you can just attach one side of your clothes ... I'm just worried about them being so incredibly flimsy I think they'll all break as I'm either getting them onto the hangers, putting clothes on them or taking clothes off them.They're not exactly cheap so I expected them to be so much better

I ordered these along with a packOf velvet hangers, these fit perfectly and tightly and are strong enough to hold garments without one end pinging off. They hold a couple of lightweight items or something heavier like denim or leather. Great on the trouser hanger so you can utilise all hanging options (skirt/trousers/shirt or top all on one hanger)

Once you clip these on to the hangers, you will not be able to move it about. I do not recommend, you're better of getting those hangers with the clips inbuilt into it. These will damage your velvet hanger if you try to take them off.
