Q: Are the clamps metal or plastic?

All packs I've seen now have plastic. I'd bet if you want metal, you need to get/install them yourself.

Q: Will this power a Keurig coffee maker?

I doubt this can run anything with heating elements (coffee makers, heaters, hot plates, etc) since those usually need 500-1200 watts. The inverter is only rated for 200 watts and under that load the battery will be drained in 1 hour. I realize the machine doesn't need to run for an hour, but it does need enough power to warm up the water in a minute which is almost for sure too much for the inverter. I don't have that coffee maker, so to really answer that question perhaps the best solution is get a meter like the "kill-a-watt" and see exactly what power it uses. That meter can tell you both power draw while something runs (to see if the inverter can handle it) and power use over time (to tell if the battery will last). The meter goes for $20, so worth it to me before spending $100+ on this (and all packs like this can't be returned, so you don't want to order it thinking a 30 day trial works).
