May not work with every desk
The build process took a while but I am very satisfied.Pros:Excellent adjustabilityVery sturdyGood clamp forceGood priceCons:Not sure if its J-PEIN's fault or VKB but one corner of my throttle is not secured as the throttle's USB port is directly behind the mounting hole and no screw/bolt was flat enough to to allow the USB to plug/unplug.Does not work well with my desk but the desk is a POS with square tube framing that interferes with everything.

Can work for VKB Stecs Standard
I bought these because I needed mounts that fit my VKB Gladiator NXT Evo and STECS Standard Throttle. This works perfectly for the Gladiator, however, other reviews say that the STECS Standard is too big OR it does fit but you hit your hand when in the full-throttle position. If assembled properly, you WILL hit your hand when going to full throttle with this mount. But I made it work by flipping the bottom mounting bracket to gain an extra inch of length (see photo). This means you can only attach 3 of the 4 screws to the mount, but I’ve found that it’s still very secure. I’m very pleased with the mount as a whole and saved a lot of money versus finding something specifically designed for VKB STECS. Note: if you have a STECS MAX mount, it’s probably still too big for this mount.I didn’t receive any instructions or a QR code to assemble. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

Solid investment for the desktop flight sim gamer!
I don’t why it took me so long to get one of these. Very happy with the product and it has definitely elevated my flight sim comfort and experience. It looks handsome in my desk. At $65 for a PAIR it’s a fantastic deal. As far as the product goes:It’s sturdy. In my pictures are VKB gladiators. Not the heaviest but they’re heavy and I have them tensioned hard and the mount does not budge. No sliding, twisting, creaking or anything of the sort. They stay in place. Pulling them out of position pretty much moves my whole desk. I assembled using the Type A or 01 method. They’re a little longer than I’d like but this is minor. I have to commend the maker of this kit. It’s well designed for aluminum extrusions. The fastening kits hold well and the screws don’t strip easily. The universal joystick mount is a smart design and comes with different size screws to fit your kit. My particular table has a frame on the edge of the desk so the clamps were unusable but simply stacking some 5mm plywood to level out the table and the frame fixed this as seen in my pictures . But this is just my weird table and few will have this issue. Some tips: take your time in assembling this. Instructions came in a form of a QR code on the box which takes you to a YouTube assembly video. Watch the entire video before assembling. With the exception of a couple of screws you should screw them in lightly at first as you’ll need to make final adjustments anyway when fitting to your desk. Minimize messing with the screws as aluminum is soft and there’s no need to over tighten. Make sure to connect the extrusions carefully and squarely and you should have a fantastic hotas setup. Really the only thing better than this is an actual rig. Five stars from me. Assembly was a bit long but not difficult.

Excellent and economical alternative to other options
This is an updated review, as I previously got a pair of these to go with a T16000 and TWCS, and then got another pair to go with VKB NXT Evos.I haven't used Monstertech or Foxx, given their price and shipping cost. For the price, it's hard to beat these, especially on sale as they were for $33 each! The versions I got this time do have a minor upgrade in that the clamp now has white nylon material (or something), vs. the black plastic that, while still working, has cracked on my other J-pein set.Again, I found them to be fairly solid, with little flex, though I haven't mounted them at their lowest point. For the price, there is little room for complaint. There is a little flex left to right when using significant force, but it would not be noticeable when playing. Also, for those concerned about the exposed ends of the horizontal mounting pieces, just get 4 of the 1/2" square versions of these - the fit perfectly.https://www.amazon.com/Prescott-Plastics-Inch-Square-Flexible/dp/B0B3N847Z9?th=1IMPORTANT NOTE: I saw one other review on this, but both of the sets I received (in October 2022 and September 2021) were the version that had the two bar mounting pieces that could be placed anywhere on the horizontal. The pictures for the product now seem to suggest there is a version (newer or older is not clear, though I see review from June/July 2022 makes reference to this potential issue) where one of the bar mounts can only be located near the front of the mount, with little adjustment. This would be significantly problematic for my VKB or likely any stick that requires the bar mounts if you want them low on the mount. That is because the version with the fixed or little adjustable front bar would cause the stick to hit the mount unless it was high enough up, severely limiting your range of adjustability height wise. And if you use a keyboard tray, to get your keyboard at the right height, that will mean the sticks would be mounted likely much higher than you'd want them to be to clear the top of the mount.I did not have this issue - I received the version where both bars can be moved where you want them and so my VKB Gladiators are mounted such that I have full forward motion with the top of the stick slightly above the top of the mount.Again, for the version I got, incredible value.

Not great
The aluminum L brackets they use to secure the parts together are cheap. I snapped two of them just trying to mount them to my desk. Maybe the clamp was too tight, but otherwise they are way too loose and wiggle around. Going to try and get just those brackets from support and hopefully they're stronger. Otherwise I'll be returning them and look for something else.
