Q: WHICH WIDTH SHOULD I USE FOR THUMB TAPING IN WEIGHTLIFTING?

We would recommend using either the 2.5cm or 5cm with Tear EAB for friction protection when lifting. Or, search for our specific Thumb Tape that is 3.8cm wide.

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EAB AND ZINC OXIDE TAPE?

Zinc Oxide Tape is a rigid, non stretch tape often used to restrict movement. EAB is a lightweight, flexible bandage that needs to be layered quite thick to be able to give the same level of restriciton. EAB is typically used to protect other tapes.

Q: CAN I USE THIS FOR INJURY RECOVERY OR JUST PREVENTION?

EAB can be used as part of a recovery program to provide light support to injured areas, and to help prevent excessive painful movements. It can also provide compression to soft tissue areas and swelling.

Q: HOW MANY USES DO I GET FROM 6 ROLLS?

This depends on what you are taping - taping fingers will use less tape than knees. Typically, one roll of 4.5m length tape is enough to fully strap 1 knee, 1 ankle or 2 lifting blocks. So 6 rolls gives you 6 full knees, 6 full ankles, or 12 blocks.

Q: WILL THIS STICK DURING SWEATY SPORTS ACTIVITIES?

Yes! Tear EAB is lightweight and breathable, meaning it's less effected by moisture and sweat. Use Pre-Tape spray if you are taping a very sweaty area or expecting to get soaked during a game, and apply 30+ min before.

Strong and reliable bandages!

These bandages are great — they have a good stretch and stick really well. I used them to keep verruca and wart plasters on my son’s feet, and the plasters stayed in the exact same place the next day, without moving at all.Even after a long walk around the shops, everything stayed secure. Really pleased with these and would definitely recommend them!
