I've done days upon days of research in order to give my cats the best they could possibly have so when I say this is a very good food for such an affordable cost I'm not lying. I fed my cats cooked raw for a year but the time commitment got to be too much for me and after a LOT of researching I settled on TikiCat born carnivore. The only issue with that became the price! I got to looking for comparable alternatives with a high enough protein content and settled on I and Love and You's Naked Essentials. For the price offered I was ecstatic! Great ingredients, (meat "meals" aren't as bad as people make them out to be) a bonus of pro and prebiotics, a nice level of protein for an obligate carnivore, and a small sized kibble for easy eating! The smell isn't overwhelming, even being a fish flavor which is a nice bonus! My cats are more than happy to chow down on this kibble and I'm more than happy to pay the affordable cost for them!

I have a VERY picky cat. She will NOT eat Friskies or Meow Mix or any of the traditional stuff. This product is high quality, high protein and the cat loves it. It is small kibble and works well in our automatic cat feeder.Hairballs continue to be an issue but nothing that supplementing some olive oil on her paws doesn’t handle safely and naturally.

Very good ingredients. My cats love it. Good price for the salmon flavor.

This cat food was okay. The disadvantage to this food is it’s to small, when my cats eat it, they hardly chew only swallow the small pebbles.. as it’s advertised for adult cats. My cat won’t eat it alone dry, I have to pair it with something like milk/wet food. I have a kitten so I will just give it to her instead

The kitties always like it. I believe it's a quality cat food. I'm fighting with myself over the price.

This has helped my overweight Russian Blue to lose almost 5 lbs!! He was 18 lbs, just turned into a senior kitty (11.5yrs old now) and was pretty inactive. After about 2 months of feeding him this food, he started getting more active, having the midnight zoomies again, and even started being a bit mischievous! He started hopping up on counters and exploring high and low whenever he could. It does mean now I can't leave any food behind on my counters.. but that's a small price to pay because he is the SOFTEST kitty ever, super playful and now weighs about 13 lbs after 10 months of this food. (And a small amount of Reveal wet food!!)The high protein in this food has really done wonders for him. He eats between 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup a day (he has full access to this food and doesnt overeat on it) and one 11lb bag lasts about 2 months for him. 5 lbs lost in 10 months is admittedly scary- but he's so healthy, active, and has an amazing coat so I really do think the food is working wonders on him. I also adore that they're tiny heart shaped kibbles, it's so cute!

This food has been my go-to for years. My cats have always loved it, and I'd started buying it because it's one of the few brands without corn filler in it (corn is really bad for cats). This morning, one of my cats was sitting hunched over in the kitchen, barely moving... When he finally got up, there was a small puddle of urine where he'd been sitting. My husband took him to the vet, and it turns out he has crystals in his urine that are causing him pain. We now have to keep an eye on him to see if he gets a blockage, in which case we'll have to take him to an emergency vet. I just want to caution others buying this food; the vet informed us that his diet was the cause, and we now have to change our cats' food. Please keep an eye on your fur babies' behavior, and take them to the vet if they seem to have urinary issues!!!

I love how the protein is the first ingredient. This has been compared to taste of the wild, but if you look at the ingredients from taste of the wild to this product, this product does have better ingredients in my opinion, less byproducts, less fillers, my cat and dog both enjoy this product.
