Absolutely beautiful 'Victorian' fun accessory or ornament (it's not really for actual cooling as it's lace and so air goes through it of course!) A tiny bit of wire (like the bits of wire you find on packaging round cables etc when you buy electrical appliances) strengthened the join in the middle, to ensure a very long life for this product - it was to ensure the pieces didn't fall apart when gold centre hinge part came a bit loose after LOTS of repeated unfolding - no problem at all after that - it's now a great long-lasting item!

Using this for cultures day at my school and a plus is that if it hot it does blow a decent amount of air!!

This is a pretty fan and looks good as a fashion accessory or fancy dress prop however it does not fan much air and is no use for cooling down. Very cheap so that's a plus.

Great looking product, good size, fast and secure delivery.A little less useful if the purpose of buying is to literally fan oneself to cool down, as the lace material naturally has holes in it in which the air escapes through rather than being wafted to ones face.However, my purpose of purchase was for simply to use visually as a prop - in which case the product is visually beautiful and is the perfect size.

for Halloween i was dressed as a vampire so i wanted a old fashioned Victorian vampire look. the fan went great with my outfit .easy to open and looks very century Gothic. only slight disadvantage is that it is quite delicate so i wouldn't use it all the time :)
