Effective Dandruff Solution
I’ve been using Alpecin Dandruff Killer Shampoo for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. As someone who has struggled with dandruff for years, finding a shampoo that actually works has been a challenge, but this one has been a game-changer.The 250ml bottle is a decent size and a little goes a long way, making it good value for money. The shampoo itself has a pleasant, invigorating scent that isn’t too overpowering. It lathers up nicely and feels refreshing on the scalp. After the first few washes, I noticed a significant reduction in dandruff. It effectively removes flakes and seems to prevent them from coming back. My scalp feels much healthier, and there’s no more itching or irritation, which is a huge relief. One thing I particularly like is that it doesn’t dry out my hair. Many anti-dandruff shampoos I’ve tried in the past have left my hair feeling stripped and brittle, but Alpecin manages to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. The only minor downside is that it took a few washes to see the full effect, so a bit of patience is required. However, the long-term results are worth it.Overall, Alpecin Dandruff Killer Shampoo does exactly what it promises. It’s an effective solution for anyone dealing with dandruff and leaves your hair and scalp feeling clean and revitalised. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Cleared Dandruff
Works a treat. I tried one or two different brands but settled on this. Have been using for nearly 2 years now - no more dandruff. Lasts ages too - I use a blob about the size of a ten pence coin and that seems to be enough for me. However, I do have fairly short hair (grade 5 - 5/8th inch or 16mm) so others may need to use a bit more. The bottle does state it is for daily use, but I try and use it only 3-4 times a week, using it every day can't be good for your scalp. May seem pricey, but as I stated, I'm conservative with my use so one bottle would last me at least 4 months.

Great product really works well
Brilliant shampoo and the only one that really works, tried various other brands but they just don’t work for me.Used to use a different style from the same company but it is no longer available so was pleased to find this one works just as well.Only a tiny amount is needed so this bottle will last months.

Causes hair loss and dryness, but is effective
I am writing this review after using a whole bottle. This shampoo didn't fully clear my dandruff, but it did help reduce it significantly. I didn't have the issue of itchy and inflamed scalp while using this product, but I did notice a drastic increase in hair loss. I literally started waking up to piles of hair on my pillow, which never used to happen before. I suspect that this is due to how much the shampoo dries out the hair. An important thing to note before you buy this product is that this is specifically for people for dandruff. If you have dry scalp (which also causes your scalp to become flakey) this product will actually make it worse. See a professional to confirm if this is right for you.In terms of the actual product, its a bright blue shampoo which smells very much like Head & Shoulders. The bottle's design is nice, it's high quality plastic with a durable lid, which isn't too hard to open/close (unlike some other shampoo's I've used).Overall, I'd give this a 3 start rating. It's not particularly cheap, it's not super effective, it causes a lot of hair loss, but it does help reduce dandruff.

Ineffective and Harsh on the Scalp
I had high hopes for the Alpecin Shampoo, but unfortunately, it’s been a huge disappointment. After using it for several weeks, I’ve noticed no improvement in my dandruff, and in fact, my scalp feels drier and more irritated than before. The shampoo has a strong chemical smell, which isn’t pleasant, and it leaves my hair feeling stripped and coarse. For a product at this price, I expected much better results and a more gentle formula.I wouldn’t recommend this shampoo—it’s been a waste of money for me.
