I found myself bored. Admist all of my creation I missed something
I live in a dorm. My roomates thought I had problems after I ordered two lbs of this godseed. Little did they know that when you pull the string and wrap it up carefully, you can actually pull apart particles on an atomic scale. I started small, working with molecules such as lead and gold. However I eventualy progressed to carbon and berryllium and managed to split the atoms into hydgrogen. After a week of this I created my own personal fusion reaction, and adsrobed it into my Elmer's Reusable Adhesive Poster Tack. Having my new unlimited energy source I created things as I always saw fit. My roomates became jealous of my newfound power and tried to claim it for their own. But the tack gave me insight into the universe itself, and I foresaw their betrayal. Using the tack I forged a ship, capable of taking me to distant galaxies. Along the way I used my tack to convert any debris I found into usable matter such as oxygen and eventually masterd more complex molecules and compounds such as vitamins and minerals. I even reached the poin where I assended the limits of man and managed to create life. Using my new power I decided to recreate the world, in everyway I saw fit. I harvested all the energy in my tack, which after years of travel had assimilated hundreds of thousands of space objects, including stars, galaxies, and even black holes. I over estimated the power of the tack and a massive explosion took place of almost infinite energy. From it's residue I formed planets, stars, galaxies and entier superclusters. However, I found myself bored. Admist all of my creation I missed something, something deep inside. From my loneliness I spent years creating souless beasts. With wings and etherial tissues. At this point my body had begun to wither away from my eon of existance. With the aid of my creations I assended my physical form and existed as a thought and voice in the universe. Still I found myself lacking. Out of bordom I formed an Ideal planet, a replica of my home, where roomates know not to steal MY GOSH DARN STICKY TACK.11/10 would buy again.

Excellent product
I'm using this putty with a Spirograph-type device to hold the rings in place on the drawing paper. I had originally purchased a similar product at a local hobby store but it kept sticking tenaciously to everything and was generally a pain to work with. This Elmer's Poster Tack securely holds the rings to the paper and then readily comes up. It easily peels off the paper, leaving no marks or residue, and rolls off the plastic ring without issue. On the rare occasion where not all of the putty comes off on first pull, rolling a small ball of it over the sticky bits pulls them right up.I've not actually used this to put up posters but based on the way it works with plastic rings and copy paper I have to think it would do a fine job and leave nothing behind once removed.

Best Poster Tack I Have Used! :)
I did not hesitate to give this product 5 starts. I gave my friend's daughter some of those glow in the dark stars you can put up in your bedroom. The sticky stuff that came with the starts dried out quickly and did not hold. I found the Elmer's Tack to hold very well without ever drying out. I have also found if i want to take down a star or move it, the Elmer's Tack re-sticks perfectly with no problem. I have since used it on posters and found the same to be true. It is also great for living in rentals where you can't put nails or holes in the wall to stick things up. It was easy to take off of the wall as well. I would highly recommend this tack above any others.

and also easy to remove from the wall
Does exactly what it's supposed to! Very sticky, and also easy to remove from the wall. If any clumps happen to stick, its easy to simply collect them by pressing the piece of tack back into the wall. The tack is a little more difficult to get off of posters though, as you generally don't want to bend the edges as you are removing it.Something to note though, is that many posters will get wrinkled or crumpled when hanging with tack, as you are pressing into the corners with some force to get it to stick. Its not really a big deal for me, but if you are trying to protect your posters, try using some kind of command product or a frame instead. Overall, I am very satisfied with the functionality, price, and the amount you get in the package!

Ok for smooth surfaces
I grew up an Air Force Brat. Living in Base Housing you weren't supposed to put holes in the walls to hang items. What teen girl doesn't have multiple posters hanging on her walls?? So my wonderful Mom gave us this to use.Fast forward to 2015: I have some posters I'd like to hang at work but don't want to put holes in the posters. Lo and behold, Amazon has "sticky tack" or "blue tack" to help a girl out.The area I have the posters displayed are generic cubicle overhead bins and a standing coat closet. The tack does not stick on the overhead bin doors. I think this is due to the texture. I have had to put this item back up, re-stretched the tack, and even used new tack from the package, but every Monday I come in and my 8x11 poster has fallen off.Works fine on side of cabinet for other poster and has not fallen down.Does put a greasy kind of spot on back of posters.

Blue tack adhesive is the best!
Blue tack is the ONLY tack worth buying! I have tried the yellow and white tacks, but they do not hold nearly as well as the blue. It does not remove the paint from the walls, nor does it leave a grease spot on the walls, although your products should be laminated to prevent grease spots on them. The only problem I ever have with it is, I live where there is high humidity during the summer. The heat plus the humidity will make it less sticky and your products may fall off the wall. Sometimes in an extremely humid summer I resort to using tape. But if tack is what you want, always get the blue!

Better than tape!
This poster tack made hanging up my posters easier and cleanner than tape, plus I have less of a chance to rip them if I wanted to move them to another place. The only problem I have is that I have to use quite a bit and the posters sort of stick out from the wall like they are levitating.

Sticky tack
I use this to keep posters or artwork up during covid while my child learns at home and it’s not safe to go to school. You have to roll it around in your hands like play dough to get it to work well. It keeps the work up and doesn’t damage the walls or leave oil stains so far. A little expensive though for such a small quantity.
