Orenda PR-10000-QT Phosphate Remover Concentrate, 1-Quart

I have used a few other brands to remove the phosphates from my pool - and they never work. In fact, I used over 4 bottles of another brand trying to save money since this brand is on the expensive side - and I still had to end up buying this one!However, IT WORKS! I follow the dosing instructions on the back, and it lasts the entire summer. I use about half the bottle over a few doses in the beginning of the season, and then usually once or twice more before October when we stop swimming. While it may be on the expensive side, it WORKS. Well worth the money!

found about this product from forums and this is not one of that gimmicky diluted products but the real thing you can use for 4 treatments for 10,000 gal pool.I was a bit concerned that it took 6 days for the product to clear the pool as it was very cloudy first 3 days. But on day 6 it was crystal clear and I confirmed with Phosphate test kit that indeed it treated for phosphates and brought the level down from higher 1000s into 200 and I have never treated my pool for phosphates

It worked great, I used the product as directed, and it removed all the Phosphate from my pool.

This works extremely well and is so much more economical versus buying similar phosphate removers from places like Leslie's. It only takes a few ounces, compared to an entire bottle, and works just as effectively.

Purchased PR 10000 to kill phosphates so as to help control black algae by removing phosphates (an algae food source). After, adding 12 OZ of PR 10000, the pool water will immediately start to cloud up, indicating that there are phosphates and that the product is killing them. Follow the instructions, run the pool filter pump overnight and then run the pool cleaner for about 6-hours. The pool water is nice and clean. It will take several weeks to see if any lingering black algae remains. (Note; black algae is very tough to eradicate, lots of wire brushing and elbow grease, chlorine treatment and now PR10000).

Cheaper than the rest because of its concentration. My phosphorus has been close to zero with just a few ounces.

Great phosphate removal. We get pretty bad wind during the summer that blows leaves into the pool. I add it after every storm when running the pool and it clears the pool beautifully. You do definitely need to backwash the pool after. every time I backwash, the water is disgusting and the pool is clear!

After unsuccessfully trying to lower the phosphate in my pool from over 5500 to less than 500 using a product recommended by my pool store supplier, I took a chance on this product. The first application of 8 ounces lowered the phosphate to 4500. I ended buying this PR10000 two times and by the time the last bottle was used up, the phosphate in my pool was 390. So while it took more doses than what the bottle recommended, it worked great. BTW, the other brand recommended by my pool store had zero effect on phosphate level. I don't think Amazon would allow me to mention that brand because they too sell it.
