These San Marzano tomatoes from Italy are the best tasting that I have found. I order them over and over again. You won’t be disappointed.

We saw a demo of blind taste test and this brand won over a dozen others. It's fantastic!

Out of 6 cans, 4 were dented, one pretty badly. They all expire in only a couple of months, which is unusual for expensive canned goods.And it appears they are not returnable. I am extremely disappointed because they were pretty pricey.

Revised Review:I previously posted a very negative review on this product due to issues related to the badly dented condition of the cans I received, not due to the quality of the product.However, I recently did some additional investigation on this issue. I had blamed Mutti for the condition of the cans I received. It turned out I was completely wrong. I found that Mutti does not sell directly on Amazon. The shipment came from either an Amazon warehouse or another seller's warehouse, NOT Mutti. Therefore, the problem I had was not the fault of Mutti. I have recently found a local store that carries Mutti Crushed Tomatoes and I will purchase my Mutti products from there. I will now once again be able to enjoy the great taste and quality of the Mutti Crushed Tomatoes. They are by far better than any other brands I have tried, and Mutti is the only brand I can say that I really love.

The fruit is sweet and delicious. Not salty. As good as canned tomatoes can be HOWEVER both the smaller and larger cans arrive with many dents. Some of the dents are large. Even in the center of the case which shows it happens at the manufacturing site.

Great tomatoes- maybe the best I’ve tried. However, all the cans were dented. One wasn’t too bad, but the others had to be disposed. I read it may not be safe to use, if the cans are badly dented. They were packed in such a way that I don’t believe they were damaged while in transit from the warehouse. These cans were dented before they were packed. Very disappointing because as much as I liked the product, I don’t think I would take a chance and order again.
