Outstanding!!!
I know all the rubbish about Huawei being blocked from using Google apps on future phones, but this phone still has full access to Google Apps and updates as designed and licenced before the issues with certain countries trade wars! Phone is extremely quick and easy to use, EMUI gets a lot of flack but I find easy to use and coming from IOS a lot of similaritys make it feel familiar and easy to use. For those who do not like it's IOS look you can enable the app drawers which a lot of people dont mention in thier hate of EMUI.The Battery gets me through 3-4 days of light use with no issues and putting on the ultr low power mode to enable phone/textand email only really extends the battry if needed. The camera is AMAZING, no complaints. the pictures a clear and detailed and the zoom is amazing, getting some good photos zoomed in. The 50x zoom allows you to identify far away details but does loose quality, but the 5x, 10x are stunning and even up to around 20x hybrid zoom is acceptable. Night photos are simply amazing, a dark night photo outside in a dimly lit street gives amazing detail, light and can identify colours of cars, grass, etc in street compared to iphone i had before where same photo gave little light, virtually no colour, detail and lots of noise at same light level. The transfer from phone software made the transfer of photos, contacts and settings from the iphone seamless.Games run really well and the screen is colourful and bright and resolution is more than good enough though lower than rivals. Can turn down resolution to a lower one to give extra battery life if needed although never really needed to do this. Sadly a lack of stereo speakers and Headphone socket let it down a little but the mono speaker is loud enough if not the best.

FANTASTIC! LOVE this phone!
Absolutely love this phone! My first experience with Huawei (Huawei P9) was so good and so reliable that I had to get the latest one supported by android when the battery of my old one finally gave up. It's a shame the P40 doesn't have Google support, but I haven't been disappointed with this P30 Pro. The ease of use is bliss! The viewing angles are amazing. The battery life is incredible. I love not having to charge my phone every day. I'm blown away by the quality of the pictures and videos. It's amazing how little light it needs to take a great picture! The only con for me is the "nano sd". I'm used to using the micro sd cards and their availability. I have always used one. The nano sd cards are ridiculously expensive and only Huawei seem to make them. So until other companies make them cheaper, I won't be purchasing any. Thankfully this phone has plenty of internal memory, so I can wait and keep an eye out for cheaper nano sd cards!

Great Phone!
Best phone I've ever owned. Upgraded to this from a (Huawei) Honor 10 as the charging port got busted and was coming up to 2 years old anyway. Love the fact that this battery is massive and not only has supercharge (0-70% in 30 minutes) but wireless charging too (found it can do 25-100% in about 2.5-2.75 hours with Huawei's 15w wireless charger) so less strain on the usb port! I've only taken a few photos while out on a walk and the camera(s) is insane. Crystal clear with fantastic zoom too. For the price of the phone you do get a lot of tech and value for money! The phone did get delivered damaged due to Delivered Parcel Damaged (DPD!) But I sent it back to the seller and they sent a new one out (using more trusted Royal Mail this time) ASAP. Many Thanks to Fairtech!

Nice, but not great.
The item wasn't dual SIM as described, so I ended up returning it (although I'm still waiting on the refund from Amazon).Camera is decent but not as amazing as Huawei would like us to believe - for example if you want a camera that's good for snapshots, I think the Pixel and S10 are better devices. The 5X zoom is fun but the quality of images from that particular sensor leaves a lot to be desired in comparison to the main lens.Battery life is excellent, and Supercharge means that even if you drain the battery the device can be brought back to 100% in no time. The software is not my cup of tea - it seems poorly designed and just doesn't have the same aesthetic charm as Samsung's new OneUI for example. It's functional, but it also has some power saving annoyances and irritations with obfuscated menu systems - for example, turning off power management for Google Photos (to enable background uploads) requires going to 'settings...battery...app launch' and making sure all the toggles for Google Photos are blue. To enable lockscreen multimedia controls you have to turn off authentication in the Face Unlock menu, rather than the lockscreen or notifications menu. The fingerprint scanner works well but it has to shine an incredibly bright light to read your prints, and also has a notification that appears whenever you move the phone. Both of these things make me concerned about screen burn over time.Overall this is a nice device, but I don't think it's as special as they might say, and I certainly don't think it's worth £899.

Good price quality product
Excellent phone for the price my only gripe was the charger plug burned itself out overnight and stopped working but no drama I just used another one I had although I found if I shake the plug it rattles so unsure of the issue, not a problem to me in all fairness it's a good phone and most new phones nowadays don't come with a charger at all.
