I think this is a nice container and there is a nice variety of safety pin sizes. I really like this package.I read some of the other reviews about the sturdiness of the pins. So, I thought I better try the safety pins for this review. I have felt and used heavier safety pins throughout my life, I must admit. I had never thought that there could be a difference in safety pin strength; but, there is. If you need heavy-duty safety pins, these might not work for you. But, they seem strong enough for me. I tried one of the medium-size pins to hold together a flannel shirt where it should be buttoned, and the pin worked fine. It poked through the material adequately and it held the flannel together sufficiently.I tried the blue latch that some people rated as flimsy. The plastic container and the latch are lightweight. I don't know how long they will last. Possibly, the item could be a little heavier duty, but it seems good enough for me. I could see it being possible to drop the box on a hard floor and breaking at the blue latch.Otherwise, it seems that it would hold up as long as you aren't rough with it. Plus, it crossed my mind that by using less plastic, it's better for the environment.

Purchased these because of the selection of sizes included.Though I appreciate the selection and the snap-close box they came in, using the one size I desired has been a challenge. Some of the points are burred or are dull, thus making penetration difficult. Additionally, the wire used for these pins is "SOFT" and easily bends which is exacerbated by the dullness of the points.Would I buy these again? Not if I could find and be guaranteed higher tensile wire and sharper points.Are they worth the money? Depends upon your use for them. I've only used the 1 size so far, and those aren't.

I liked the look of the set; having all sizes organized was a great idea. And using them on lightweight fabric was fine. But as soon as I tried to push one through heavy fabric, it bent. The pin itself is not strong; it's basically a piece of wire sharpened at one end. Not good for my uses.

We’re always searching for Safety pins in the house and I just decided to break down and buy a big ‘ole set so I never have to look and scrounge around again. This sets of safety pins is great. They’re all very sturdy and I love the organized container that it comes in so you can easily choose the size safety pin that you need.

I haven’t bought safety pins for a long time. So I assumed it was really not much variation in what was out there. However, the metal these are made of seems to bend too easily. The case is nice ( for a plastic case), but I gave up on trying to fit the safety pins back inside it, and am now using it for something else.

Great collection of a variety of sizes with a great box to keep them.

For almost this same price in a brick and mortar I would have gotten a 10th off what I got in this package. Definitely worth the money.

This is a great product. Quality safety pins, good range of sizes and all kept in a great box. I’ve bought little boxes of safety pins before and they do end up getting eventually lost. This keeps them all together. Would buy again!
