Cheap and effective
I own a 2018 Mazda 3, and the dealer decided to place the license plate directly underneath the emblem on the grill which was extremely ugly. I refuse to do an even uglier offset tow hook mounting solution, so this was the simple and cheap answer to my prayers. I bought this, ziptied it to the bottom of my grill, and attached the plate directly on top of it. No one can tell it's ziptied, it is VERY secure, and looks fantastic.

Fits any bolt configuration, light, unobtrusive
Had one of these on my Dodge Magnum for 6 years and would have lasted longer except for that cement wall at church. I bought the car in CT so it did not have the required front plate for MA. The Mopar Front bracket was this massive thing that fit the bumper contour. I wanted something much more simple. This fit the bill and allowed me to position the bolts exactly where I wanted them. The 4 small holes are to mount the plate. The various recessed slots all over the bracket will match up with any bolt configuration you have or that you want to create. Works great and gave me room to wash and dry behind the plate instead of being a dirt collector like the Mopar. So glad to find a replacement on Amazon.

Versatile Plate Mount
I needed this to mount my front plate on a Subaru WRX that came with Japanese plate holes in the bumper. I didn't want to drill into the bumper. This IS fragile. When I opened the package I was impressed by how beefy it seemed. The plastic is thick, but unfortunately it's extremely brittle. I snapped a couple of the bars on mine somewhere along the installation. It still functions just fine, so it's OK.I think it would be nice to have better hardware included. I would have liked some stainless steel or chrome bolts and a machined receptacle. I like things to be cleanly removable but this simply has screws that did into the plastic. There wasn't room behind it for me to use nuts.Overall it's a decent plate holder, and one of few that will allow you so much freedom in mounting. So despite my complaints it still deserves four starts for versatility.

Worked Perfectly
My 2000 Chevrolet Silverado did not come with a front license plate bracket, just two holes drilled into the bumper with nylon nuts inserted in the holes to attach the place. I removed the license plate and placed the bracket on the bumper. The holes on the bracket matched up with the same two holes that originally held the license plate so I used the old license plate screws and attached the bracket. Then I used to bolts (my own) to attach the license plate to the bracket. Worked perfectly. Can't believe I waited 15 years to purchase a bracket (during which time I went thru three sets of license plates because they became bent and twisted in a car wash) but then I didn't shop at Amazon years ago and I didn't want to pay the dealer or parts store price for a sturdy bracket. For $10.48 it is a great bracket

Great for a no holes drilled front plate on newer audi’s
Perfect for a newer Audi as a front license plate bracket. Used on a current gen A4 and A6. European frame screws lineup perfectly with the slots in the frame, and then you just attach your license plate to this plastic frame. No holes drilled in car. License plate sits about half an inch lower on the car but really not noticeable, and doesn’t block the view of the front camera. This is what Audi should’ve supplied with the cars and not cheaped out on US cars.

Rigid enough to be supported by just a couple of mounting screws
Worked well for my purpose.I didn't have any front mounting points on my car so I used 2 anchor bolts 3/6"x4" and 3/4"x2" PVC pipe to mount the frame using the holes in my front grill. The white PVC pipe was wrapped in electrical tape so it wouldn't stand out.The frame is rigid enough to be supported by the 2 screws and was able to support the license plate and a license plate frame. The frame I received didn't have any screws so i used #12x1/2" so I wouldn't need nuts and so the screw would not extend past the frame.

Okay but not a complete solution
This license plate mount is okay if you're willing to put in some extra effort to make it work right. I bought a new Chrysler 300, and the factory license plate mount was horrible - it covered the main grille of the car! So I wanted to find a solution to move the license plate lower, while not having to drill any more holes in the bumper. For that purpose, this kit does not include everything you'll need - you get a few screws with it but they are longer than the depth of the frame, so they will screw into your bumper if you're not careful. I guess that is the intended purpose for some people, but I already had the screw holes in my bumper - I just wanted to use this to re-position the license plate. In that case, I had to go to Home Depot to buy some really short fat screws that could self-tap the license plate holes in the frame without piercing the bumper of my car. It was a tricky solution but it worked. Like I said, this kit is not really a total solution, it's just part of a solution. To really make it worth your while you'll need to do some additional work.
