The cuckoo sound and music can be shut off and ours is. It is so adorable and decorative, I dont mind that we don't get to hear the cuckoo.

I bought this for my mother for her birthday. It is very pretty and made from wood. Worth the money. Good sound. She loves it. Only problem was that one of the fake chains was unattached and couldn’t be reattached. Had to tape it on. ☹️. It did have an owner’s manual.

The grandchildren love to watch this clock. They run to see the bird come out each time. Easy set up and batteries last a long time. My husband had always wanted one of these clocks. Appreciate that it does not alarm during night time hours

I always wanted a cuckoo clock and came across this item as an affordable alternative option. I was excited when it arrived because in the pictures and videos posted it looked awesome. The box was not damaged and when I opened it I discovered that the arm was broken off the guy and the screw was popped out/stripped from the birds housing window. The chains hanging down are made of plastic. I went ahead and requested a replacement order which I may regret because at a distance it looks authentic but up close you can tell it is made very cheaply. I will update the review when I receive the replacement order. The main downside is I am expecting the same type of quality and expect something else to be wrong with this product based on what I saw. I don’t anticipate my next review being higher but figured I would give the company another chance to make things right. Amazon was awesome as always with sending out the replacement order however I feel at a 80.00 price point the quality/quality control should be better. The more I think about it now I am feeling mislead and ripped off. You get what you pay for.

This cuckoo clock has all the features I wanted and many improvements from my previous one. I like the special features such as a light sensor and push button to advance the cuckoo to match the time. It has lots of windows with shutters and a dog watching the woodcutter with logs stacked on the side. The trim and the roof look so authentic. Love it.

Its my ancestral house i replace the item to were it was place but its a bit smaller than the one before but its good
