No difference noticed from OEM filters
Seems to be the same product as the more expensive previously purchased units for my Jupiter Melody system. I cannot tell any difference in taste from the OEM versions I've had for years (I drink a LOT of water every day at the 10.0 Alkaline setting).I'll probably keep buying these as the price difference makes a difference to me.Note: my company previously was a distributor of the Jupiter Melody and I've used direct manufacturer stock biostone replacements for many years. This version appears to be the same quality from my point of view.

Leaks badly on a JP-102 (solution update)
Bought this filter for a Jupiter JP-102 and, while the water tastes fine, the connection at the bottom leaks badly. Put the old Alka Viva filter back in and no leak. Reseated the new filter a couple more times but it still leaks while the old filter is water tight. Figured out the opening at the bottom of this filter is slightly larger than spec, just enough to leak. Too bad, was a great deal otherwise.Update 7/30/2017: I planned to return the filter but on a whim installed a slightly thicker o-ring on the connection at the bottom of the filter (only 0.5mm thicker) and now it's leak free! Of course the Alka Viva filter no longer fits but I can easily switch back to the thinner o-ring if I decide to spend the big bucks for Alka Viva. So I added one more star to the rating. Nevertheless, this product was described as compatible and really should fit a stock Jupiter JP-102 without changing 0-rings. However for a Jackson and a half I can't complain too much and might even buy again if this one holds up okay.
