The best high end controller
I’ve used scuff controllers and few other random brands and always had a problem with them breaking easily in a couple months. I’m a life long gamer and need the best gear I can get to perform the best, this controller has been phenomenal, solving the problem I’ve had with previous ones especially because all the parts are replaceable for relatively cheap. The trigger options and 4 paddles are exactly what any gamer could ask for they all work great, the controller is very reactive and has improved my gameplay very visibly, the only complaints ide have is every once in a while I’ll get a little stick drift on the left stick but I believe it’s by design and it’s only for a second or 2 and has never posed a problem, the other thing is the sticks are more difficult to click on then previous controllers I’ve had but it will just take getting used to or breaking in, I use these a lot because I play rainbow six. The grips on the side of the controller are super good along with being able to customize the Xbox button is a nice touch, the controller is very easy to remap as well.If your looking to get a high quality controller and you are looking at options I would recommend getting this one, the battery life last a very long time.If I have any problems with it in the future I’ll be sure to make some edits here but as of now everything has been golden.(I do have kontrol freaks on in the picture the sticks do not come looking like that)

Once you get used to the back paddles you will love the controller.
Overall, very happy with the controller. It takes time getting used to the back paddles but once you do it makes you a better gamer. I do experience minor stick drift but minimal. I think $200 is a bit much for a controller though.

Review
My favorite controller. A bit heavier than most but the paddles are definitely a great audition once you make it past the learning curve. Haven’t had any stick drift and it’s been a few years. Only problem is the charging case doesn’t seem to hold a charge so you constantly need to have it plugged in.

I bought 3!
We got one and tried it out only to find that they make everything so much faster. Once we realized just how awesome these controllers are we had to buy 3. One for both of our kids and even got one for dad. The kids charge them over night and none of the controllers have ever died during a game day. The battery lasts well over a full 8 hour gaming session. Never gotten close to one dying but if I had to guess I’d bet it’ll last 12+ hours before needing to charge!

Widely-reported XYAB button issues for ELITE 2's ruin an expensive and otherwise great package
Bought to replace a well aged (well loved) ELITE controller. Feels tighter and overall better than my original ELITE, but.... the darn B-button is inconsistent/unresponsive which causes obvious problems when playing nearly any game; apparently low quality surface buttons of XYAB are common even for people who have done multiple returns while under warranty. Shame because the controller feels very high quality and has great features, but a button that doesn't work simply doesn't fly for any level of gamer, much less one that buys a 'pro' level controller. Wish I had a better alternative to suggest, but just beginning that search now myself. Shame that MSFT hasn't addressed, because this issue appears to have a few years of track record according to MSFT, Reddit, etc...Do not recommend.

The controller is good
The quality feels good. There is a minuscule amount of stick drift, which will be perfectly fine fo most gamers, but if you play on like 0.01 or 0.00 deadzones, I'd look for something with Hall Effect sticks instead. The paddles are a tad bit loose and have a bit of jiggle a bit while installed. Not enough to mess with my gameplay but I'f you dropped the controller I think i'd be surprised if all 4 paddles where still in.The bottom paddles are fine, great even, I love the shape, but the top paddles take quite a lot of for to press and the paddle itself moves quite a bit before it actuates, and feels like it actuates before it actually does so you will feel like you pressed something but you actually never did.I don't think I would recommend to someone with a claw grip because it'd be difficult to press these buttons with the ring and pinky fingers, but fine for people with a traditional grip with the index finger on both finger.
