Since the beginning, January 3rd 2009, when Nakamoto mined the starting block of the chain, known as the genesis block, we all knew hardware and software wallets were susceptible to hackers and now backdoors to user passwords, which is what ultimately lead me to research alternative wallet service providers and found Ballet in February 2023. I was always intrigued by paper wallets and the idea to have 100% control of my assets instead of relying on third party services. But then there was the naysayers on YouTube and Reddit (mostly affiliate mouthpieces from hardware and software wallet companies) that gave paper wallets a bad name. Then Ballet revolutionized the already existing idea behind paper wallets by applying on beautiful metal cards, encrypted private keys, tamper-evident scratch-offs and stickers, Ballet logo and seals, serial numbers, ultraviolet Invisible Ink, and we can’t forget that QR code sticker coated with a substance that releases a special Ballet fragrance when scratched gently. With all that security in mind, the founder and CEO Bobby Lee (not the comedian😂) is a world recognized name with huge success as CEO of China's first cryptocurrency exchange BTCC, vice chair of the board of the Bitcoin Foundation, VP of Technology at Walmart, China e-Commerce, CTO and SVP at BesTV New Media, Shanghai Media Group (SMG), Director of Software Engineering at EMC, China Center of Excellence;Sr. Engineering Manager at Yahoo, Software Engineer (Internship) at Silicon Spice, Software Development Engineer (Internship) at Microsoft, and Software Research Engineer (Internship) at International Business Machines. His education alone far exceeds my expectations, so no need to discuss. Let’s not forget he’s also the brother of the great Litecoin founder Charlie Lee. My point is, I chose Ballet based on doing my on research, and with Ballet’s mission to make self-custodial crypto ownership easy and safe for everyone, I chose them over ALL available options because safety of my assets are priority. The Lee brothers have footprints all over the internet and are very easy to find with little research. In fact, I’ve found real estate owned by both brothers in US and China. These two are about as transparent as they come, unlike the many faces hiding behind them supposedly reputable hardware and software wallet companies. My entire life has focused on being able to hold ppl accountable for their actions/mistakes, and that’s what makes me sleep better at night knowing accountability is within arms reach. The United States along with other countries are cracking down on exchanges, pushing for regulation, handing out hefty prison sentences for scammers, in preparation for the big ETF explosions that will change everything for the good. I’m just another Ballet customer not paid to say anything mentioned above, just wanted to share my experience thus far with Ballet, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to absolutely anyone. Ballet is an obvious no-brainer, for ANYONE wanting to store crypto safely and securely. If you could see my 💰💰💰💰💰of crypto stored on Ballet cards, you would understand my trust for Ballet over ALL.😎

While this wallet can be used by anyone, it is aimed to new users to make using crypto easy while being as secure as possible. "Easy" and "secure" are often at different ends of the spectrum but Ballet does a good job finding a good balance.Where this wallet likely is better than any other is the ability to gift crypto. When it is shipped, the public key wallet address QR code is easy to access behind a little flap without opening the packaging itself. This makes it easy to send crypto to that address from your wallet/exchange so it comes pre-loaded with some crypto for the person receiving it (if you want to).Therefore, I think the Ballet cards are the best way to physically gift crypto to someone and it works for anyone from beginner to a seasoned crypto HODLer.

The media could not be loaded. This is basically a paper wallet with an app. While I would recommend it to get a noob with no technical experience started, you should definitely get a better cold wallet once you have bitcoin experience.It is bar far the easiest wallet I have every used, but it does suffer from a few issues.1 - Transfer fees are high if you use the Ballet app. Using the lightning network transfer fees are just a few cents. However this wallet uses the ballet app with transfer fees of about $3.00 for every $50 to $100 of bitcoin. With the advent of the lightning network I am unable to justify these fees.2 - It is not fire safe. The QR code is a sticker that would burn up in a fire and also the seed phase would burn off.3 - It is desifned to be a wallet for holding, not spending. In order to send bitcoin out of this wallet you must peel off the top QR sticker to reveal a bottom QR sticker. This creates an issue on what to do with the top sticker. Do you throw it away? Do you try to restick it to the card?4 - Static wallet addresses. You can not generate new addresses to send and receive bitcoin. This could cause privacy and hacking issues if you continue to use the same addresses.This is definitely a great wallet to get people started, but I would not recommend holding large amounts of Bitcoin in this wallet.

It was more than I thought it was. Very Durable. It was just a day later than you all said. I think it should have been sent prime because it was a very important package.But Amazon does a good job anyway

This is very simple to use , download the app , type in your code and you are ready to send and receive tons of different crypto currency’s, i bought this because I realized with my digital hardware wallet , let’s just call it the “wedger” nano , if you don’t plug them in often to update the software they will lock you out , they really are a pain to use and this alternative is far easier , you could even take a photo and save it somewhere , point being you greatly reduce your chance of losing access to your crypto forever and protect it from online attacks at same time . Photo attached is the back of card , it’s metal and comes with a clear case to store it . For obvious reasons I can’t show the front of the card .
