Effective and easy to use
So far I have used and swapped out 8-10 pairs. If I clean the area first with a little alcohol or Dawn, the pads stick securely to my plastic frames, and comfortably keep the glasses higher on my nose. Placing a pad on the frame is a little tricky, but they don't have to be aligned exactly to work. I wash my glasses 3-4 times a week and unless I directly scrub the pads, they stay attached. After a week or so, the pads start loosening and need replacement. There may be cheaper and equally effective options - I have not tried others.

They Work!
I have to say these are a game changer. I have a super oily face and I’m a server at a restaurant so combined with running around for 6 to 8 hours, my glasses ALWAYS slid down my nose and I was always touching them to adjust. The Gecko Grip nose pads work soooo much better than I thought at keeping my glasses up all night! They don’t irritate my skin and there they leave less of a red mark than my glasses alone did. I know this sounds dumb but it literally made me happier and quicker while working. That being said, I didn’t get the thin ones, they are a little thick. But they stick well and hold up my glasses and you wouldn’t really know unless I told you they were there. The design matched the shape of my glasses nose pads perfectly and fit well, but I have metal frames with those adjustable pads. I don’t know how they would fit a plastic pair. All in all I’m a happy camper.

Great until not
For starters, I really like this product. Life saver for those not gifted with a high bridge to hold the glasses in place. Soft and comfortable and keeps your glasses in place - until the adhesive stops sticking! I’ve ordered 3 of these and I feel that the adhesive disintegrates more quickly now within 3 or 4 weeks at best. It just slips out of place all of a sudden, leaving you wondering what that blur is in the middle of reading something. Pricey for the quality. Will have to look for another option.

Just what I needed!
Update :Unfortunately I am going to have to knock a couple stars after some use with these. Everything I mentioned previously hold true, they grip amazingly well! The issue is the adhesive. I wish they used a bit stronger 3M adhesive. The stuff they use is a gel adhesive one thing I learned real quick, they do not hold up in high temps for long. It's summer time now and that means temps averaging 80s to 90s right now and that not including humidity in my area. Unless you plan on staying inside all the time when it's hot out, the adhesive on these pads will deteriate in no time. It literally will ooze out from under the pad until eventually enough has oozed out from the heat that the pads simply will not hold on to the glasses any longer.I know 3M makes better adhesive that is stronger in heat and still removable and for the price these are being charged for, really shouldn't be skimping on it. So if you live in a mild to cool climate even in the summer times, these will be perfect. If your living down south where even 100 degrees heat isn't anything new, be prepared to be cleaning and changing these out in relatively short time.Original Review :I just got a new pair of glasses about a week ago and they are my first pair of full frames. So I never had glasses without nose pads before. The glasses seemed to have fit well but did notice the bottom of my frames rested lightly on my cheeks and of course through out the day my noise gets oily and if it's warm inside and/or outside, there is added sweat. As for the frames resting on my cheeks I suppose I could have taken them back to be adjusted but I didn't really want to deal with that as it didn't seem much lift was really needed. So I thought hmmm they make nosepads for full frames don't they? And of course they do! The ones I ordered are in the standard 1mm size and in color black. I didn't want clear because from past experience with my other glasses over time the oils will turn the color of the clear to yellow and just looks horrible at that point even after washing them off. Figure with black, the oils won't be able to change the color and will look nice. Besides my frames are slightly opaque slate gray. So I'm direct light you can see through the frames but in low light the slate gray color looks solid. So black matched perfectly for me too. They come in a small round container inside a pouch packaging. The D shape matches my frames nose bridge shape perfectly and has a 3M sticky pad on the backside. I've seen other reviews of others having issues getting them lined up and sticking on but luckily for me that wasn't an issue. First I make sure to clean the nose bridge of my glasses really well and being completely dry. Then I held nosepad between my finger and thumb by the edges and peeled the cover off the tape side. Carefully lined it up and gently sat it on my frames nose bridge in case I needed to make small adjustments to straighten it out. Once I had it where I wanted simply added pressure all over the pad to be sure it stuck well to the frames. With both installed now and trying on my frames the pads did indeed lift my frames up just a small bit and now they no longer rest on my cheeks! Not only that they really don't look all that noticable to me.They don't seem to be slipping down but of course time will tell. I will say though they do have a nice grip to them. Also I will have to fight the urge to constantly want to push them even I don't have to (dang memory muscle). The price may seem a little bit high but you get quite a few pairs in case you ever need to replace them. In time I'll see how well the grip holds and if I'll run into any issues with the 3M tape losing it's adhesion as other reviews have mentioned happened to them.I'll follow up with an update on those qualities.Though as my first day review with them, they did lift my glasses off my cheeks exactly like I wanted and seem to grip well so far. With that said, as of now I highly recommend these.

They Stay On! Do it right.
Do NOT listen to people who say these fall off to fast. They are putting them on wrong or poorly.I've had mine on since mid May. It's July now, and they're still going strong. No signs of them coming off. They've been through sweat, dirt, hot cars, and desert/forest hiking. I've driven >10k miles wearing these on my sunglasses this summer so far.--Never apply these with dirty glasses or hands. Your face and hands are secreting oils all day long. Oil ruins the adhesive on these pads.--Make sure your hands and glasses are completely free of oil. I'm talking put some dawn on those things and don't use any water until youve smeared it all over and really worked it in.((explanation: The undiluted soap will trap and mix completely with oil if you don't use water until the very end. That's why soap works. First it bonds to dirt/oil and then it bonds to water to be carried away. If you introduce water too soon, you'll interfere with the soap's ability to bond to oil as well. It's fine for usual hand washing but we're preparing a surface for adhesive application, so we're doing this right.))--Don't touch the adhesive when you apply them to the completely clean, dry glasses with absolutely clean, dry hands.--Press the pad firmly against the glasses working the pad so that the adhesive properly, completely, and strongly bonds to the surface of your glasses frame.--Apply it from one side to the other to prevent trapping air--make sure the entire pad is adhered all the way to the edges.Good luck! May your results be like mine.DH
