This pedal reminds me of Babooshka‘s I’ve seen on movies. I never thought that I’d only one of these. It works just as intended and sturdy. My only caution is that I use it indoors, and won’t ever do that again. It really does get ground in dirt and dust out of rugs so should be used outside. It’s easy to clean and looks great hanging next to all of my other implements in the utility closet

This carpet beater is great! I can’t believe all the dirt that came out of my doormats while using it. I knew my vacuum wasn’t getting it all out, but this was a surprise. It has a nice design and appears to be well made. The only thing that I can think of that would make it better is if it had a hanging thingy on the end of the handle.

The weight and design make this a pleasure to work with. If I were to make any other comment, and this may be peculiar to me, the handle is a little short to get maximum leverage on the swat, but.....

Just like in the old days! To really get the dust out of a carpet (or a bear hyde), nothing equals an old fashioned carpet beater. And this one is sturdy and does a great job, while being small enough to store easily.

Live in the desert so using often to bat out the sand on our patio cushions. The binding from the head to handle is already loosening up. Used duct tape to keep it together. For the price paid compared to other plastic products not worth it.

My wife wanted a rug beater for Christmas. :) We live in a rural area and our house gets a lot of dust. We can sweep it off the hardwood floors, but the throw rugs accumulate dirt that is hard to get out. This rug beater works perfect. It is sturdy, and has a wide face area that beats the dirt out.

Works on beating pillows, rugs, etc..
