Stick it- stick it good.
After having two of my gamecube analog sticks get either chewed up or destroyed, I figured it was time to replace them. So, with a new tri-wing screwdriver, I popped open the controllers and went about an incredibly easy replacement process. Once the new sticks were in, I could hardly tell the difference between them and an official/original manufacturer's part. They look and feel great- thoug ha discerning eye will notice that the C-stick is a little more... plastic-y than the original. Still, it's a good product. As an added note, if your analog stick feels "loose", getting a replacement stick will probably not fix that, since that's more an issue with the mechanism attached to the stick. Still, that's not the replacement stick's fault, since it does what it was designed to do quite well!

Left stick is a bit different, good product
Both joy sticks are made with good quality. The right yellow C-stick is exactly as the original Gamecube controller, so no complaints there. However, the left stick is a bit different. The left stick is slightly too short to the point where the top of the stick (where the thumb goes) nearly hits the edge of the controller. If you're having intense battles in Super Smash Bros. or any fighting game sometimes the left stick WILL sometimes hit the edge of the controller of you press it hard enough. You will get used to it though. Oh yeah, the left stick doesn't make that click sound when you rapidly rotate 360 degrees, but it moves around smoothly.

The grey joysticks are not quite the same as the original ones but are good nonetheless. The grey ones are also just slightly ..
I bought these for the worn out joysticks in 3 of my Controllers. The grey joysticks are not quite the same as the original ones but are good nonetheless. The grey ones are also just slightly shorter than the originals and they bump into the controller. I fixed that problem, after putting the controller back together, by pulling up on the grey joystick just a tad. This prevents it from bumping into the controller and now it feels just as good as the original. So if your joysticks are worn as flat as mine were, then these are suitable replacements.

This replacement analog is just awful. It has a very sticky type of feel to the rubber when using it and mine has already worn out quite a bit from only like a total of around 10-12 hours of in game play as Luigi in Melee. Lots of wave dashing but still should NOT wear this fast. Only had it for about a 3-4 weeks. And just have played net play here and there. Honestly, the sticky cheap rubber feeling is what ruins it mostly. Also the hole at the bottom of the analog used to place the analog on the controller is to deep. Causing it to go to far down to making the rubber always hitting the controllers sides and giving it a jammed up feeling. I had to put a little piece of paper and jam it into the hole to make it not so deep so the analog would stay higher up on the controller. There aren't many other alternatives for these analogs. Just wish it was made with a little more love for the hard core melee player. The C stick isn't bad I guess and is holding together fine.

Easy to replace and I have my favorite purple controller back in action.
I had several official GameCube Controllers from 2001 and the C stick rubber started rubbing off due to just lots and lots of years of playing. The controllers themselves are built very well. Everything works amazing still. I wanted to keep those controllers so I went looking for a way to fix them. A friend showed me that you can buy replacement analog sticks and C sticks and have the best of both worlds. The operation only took 10 minutes for each controller. I was back in action playing fun GameCube games.

Good for Nintendo brand controllers
Pretty sure these work great, I was just stupid and lost them because I moved to another apartment and the parts are really small. To be honest though, only worth it if you are replacing the tops to Nintendo brand GC controllers. However, if you are replacing the tops to the cheaper controllers, it's cheaper to just buy a new one. ($8.99 for a set of two!) - 8/10 would buy again

only downside is it doesn't have much of a clicky sound.
This is perfect since i couldnt find any other one on amazon. The only downside to this is that this doesn't have the same clickly sound as the original. I have both so i could easily tell them apart. but its good when playing in the night right? by this i mean it doesnt make much noise when moving the thumb stick. I've only tried the gray one so im guessing the yellow one is the same. This gets 5 stars since it works how it should and im not super picky about the feel of the stick. (i got used to it pretty quickly)

Good product. Excellent costumer support.
The caps feel good, theres no mayor noticeable difference when you look at them, but when you use it, it doesn't make that classic plastic to plastic clicking sound when you rotate the joystick rapidly since it's more sort of a rubberized stick.Installation was very very easy. If you don't have a tri-wing screwdriver, don't worry! You can use a small flathead. At first the product didn't arrive but as soon as I contacted them, they re sent.
