I'm giving this 5 stars, not because it's the highest quality, but because it's perfect for its intended use. My expensive watch gets reserved for special occasions. This is my daily timepiece. For $35 I don't know any watch that can compare. The construction feels solid enough, and the bracelet seems quality. The appearance is sleek, and from a short distance, it might even be mistaken for a more expensive watch. It's cheap enough that I wear it to the gym and while doing chores around the property. The only variable with a watch like this is how long the battery will last. We'll see, but I definitely don't regret this purchase.

I have been wearing and still do my smart watches. However, I had to switch it up a bit and BENYAR became my choice to do that. FACTs: I love the clean readability of the watch. The buttons functionality, fit, ease of use, lite weight and most importantly ... the look.ADDED FACTs: This is an impressively fashionably wrist wear that's priced at a super budget friendly cost. However, beyond the monetary value, I do love the BENYAR brown high quality branded leather band and the detailed stitching that holds the durablity together, as well as the BENYAR branded metal frame. Also, the deep ocean blue face that sits in the black chassis, in addition to ... the gold accents that highlights the clock's dial ... displays a great look. Especially, when light is reflected from the mirrored finish. Truly, in these moments, the beauty of the watch shines like moissanite. Furthermore, the blue 3D ridges that sits between the numbers uniquely adds more of BENYAR's characteristics to the watch face.FUNCTIONALITY: I've noticed ... with each 24 hours cycle. The timing of this watch lags an added second behind my smart watch. Nevertheless, I have ... chosen to proudly model this time piece. WHY? "I needed an option to my smart watches, and ... for the price and the standout quality. "This BENYAR is my winner."EXPECTATIONS: Simply follow the manufacturer's directions for care and effective maintenance and you'll definitely get more than your moneys worth ... considering, NO manufacturer's defect.CONCLUSION: The Chronograph works, so does the Stopwatch ... but, I'm already sold on the watch's main functionality ... inspite of, the other working features. This is a beautiful yet inexpensive, bang for your buck, quality time piece with a calendar ... that only made this BENYAR an elegant and timeless wrist wear for me. "Water resistance and scratch resistance?" ... Awww! Personally, I avoid getting this time wear wet. No matter the circumstance and likewise, I do my very best to avoid crashing, or smashing, or any form of scratches, by being extremely careful. Considering ... "It's a budget friendly watch." Therefore, watch out and be careful. Be mindful of its limitations and its build quality.

(See update at end) I bought the one with the blue face, black case, and leather strap. I love how it looks. It's absolutely gorgeous, far more beautiful than the official pic on Amazon. However, the chrono buttons don't seem to do anything. A little disappointing, but I didn't buy it for the chronograph function anyway. If I needed to accurately time something, I could do it accurately with a homely sub-$15 Casio digital watch with the bonus of a far more readable display. Still, I think the chrono function should work as advertised. Because it doesn't, it didn't earn the fifth star.UPDATE: The nice folks at Benyar apologized for the problem and since I wanted to keep the watch issued a partial refund. The chronograph function isn't important to me anyway, but if I order a watch that's a chronograph, it should be functional. I'm happy with their solution.

Simple and classic is my style and this watch fits those purposes for me. The leather band takes time to contour to your wrist but is quite comfortable. The design has generated multiple responses so far and it didnt break the bank account.

I’ve been wearing the watch daily for a few weeks now. There’s been no mechanical issues so far and it keeps time. The band was pretty stiff for the first week, but I’m sure there are techniques to break it in. It does tick fairly loud, so I could see it being annoying to some people if you leave it on a night stand. Otherwise, I’d probably buy it again for what I paid for it, or maybe buy one of the other face/band options to mix it up.
