Good quantity and quality for the price.
You actually get two strands of lights which are very long. And two solar panels. They are very easy to put together. You just add the system to the solar panel. And put it where it will collect the most sunshine. There’s a switch in the back of the unit that gives you a choice of three different lighting systems. The instructions are very clear. Very easy to follow. They have a button that you push to put them on and off. They do not come on automatically at sundown. They’re all weatherproof. The one downfall I would probably say is that you do have to turn them on and off they don’t come on automatically. But that doesn’t really make a difference to me because I have them on my patio.

Compact
Just adding my pictures to help those that don't get a ruler out when shopping, like me. These are what are commonly known as fairy lights, each spaced about 4 inches apart. The solar panels are small(ish), but if they do the job, that's what is important. No pics of brightness, since these aren't designed to provide more than decorative twinkles, and they are still charging after being delivered today. I got them on a daily deal, so the price was excellent and I don't expect they'll last more than one season. I may add to my review later if I have any strong impressions, but for $4.50 each I don't expect tons.

Very pretty with a decent lifespan
Mine are outdoors all year, in all the heat, humidity, storms, and occasional freezes southern Louisiana can throw at them. I estimate they have about a two-year lifespan. Maybe they will last longer since I now have them elevated off the ground from garden shepherd hooks. Eventually the single rechargeable AA battery will fail. Installing a new battery requires removing four tiny screws with a Phillips screw driver made for electronics. A new battery might or might not fix the problem: if it doesn't, it's time for a new string of lights. Also, after years outdoors, the plastic coated copper wire will become brittle and break: again, time for a new string. My Mom and Dad loved Christmas. And now they have one of the most unique final resting places in the world.

NOT the improved ones. As you can see.
Supposedly these were new and improved larger better solar twinkle lights, but actually they’re the smaller non-improved ones. You can see from the measuring tape that they are the smaller lousier ones.In addition, the memory chip in one of them stopped working inside of 24 hours so I expect the other one to fail any day now as well, which means I’ll have to remember to check it every night so that I’m not annoying my neighbor with the strobe (or other seizure-inducing) setting.I don’t want to Uber to a Staples to return these “for free” so I’ll eat the cost, but I wanted to warn anyone else who might be suckered in by the “improvements” that this is clearly a lie.

Good but spotty charge
They look nice when they hold the charge but one of the strings almost never works, despite the charger being right next to another one that does work. Idk. It’s only been a week, so we’ll see if it gets better.

Pretty little lights!
Set and forget it. Are outside on my rose bushes and have gone through some hard rain and they are durable. Surprised how durable this little things are. Will purchase more!

2 SETS, 1 LIGHTS UP
One of the sets of lights did not work. Did not want to go thru the hazzle of returning them. They only coost $10 and one set worked fine. I took of the back cover (4 small screws) and lo and behold, one of the wires connecting the power switch was not connected. Someone forgot to solder it. Took care of that problem and waiting for them to lite up on the step rail. I did test them and they did work.
