Forget other reviewers….
So there are a few reviews that complain about the crossovers. Seriously? First of all, I didn’t find any issues with the crossovers, maybe because I didn’t drop them during install (hence the breakage). Secondly even if the plastic breaks, use some electrical tape, hot glue, or other means to fix the plastic. It has nothing to do with the sound.Speaking of the sound. I installed these speakers in the front doors of a honda jazz. Had to drill holes in the door panel to install the tweeters. It worked out amazing and already sounds a lot better than factory. However, the factory unit does not put out 40w rms. So I can’t wait to install my 4 channel vibe 4x65w micro amp to the factory head unit later this week. It will blow my socks off, I know it.I sound deadened the front doors and will be installing kenwood 3-way 6.5” speakers to the back later this week. So for around £250, I will transform the audio experience in the car. No need to get aftermarket stereos which break in 2-3 years. So the speakers are ace for the price. They are not the best out there, but amazing good and around £60. These speakers should have at least 4.7 stars. Not 4.2 at the time of me writing this review.

So Far So Good, (Your buyers guide before you Buy)
What's inside the box:Two 6.5-inch Woofers: These handle the mid-range and low-frequency sounds. Two Tweeters: These handle the high-frequency sounds. Two Passive Crossovers: These split the signal to send high frequencies to the tweeters and mid-range/lows to the woofers.Mounting Hardware: Includes screws, clips, and other mounting accessories for installing the woofers, tweeters, and crossovers.Speaker Grilles: Protective covers for the woofers (optional to use, depending on your setup). To begin with you may or you may not need to do your own wiring before proceeding, I have a Corsa D 2011 and had to wire the woofers and tweeters to the crossover in order to get the best connection so be prepared to get messy, I personally soldered the wires together which I'm quite comfortable doing which would allow for the best possible connection in my case. I'm not sure if this is the case for all cars but I had to buy a harness for the woofers to allow it to sit, and the tweeter did not fit the door card, so melted the door card for it go in, you could also use good old tape but I don't think this would last long and wouldn't look professional if you were to do it like and also may offset the lining of the door card when putting it back on, if you can only access the speakers by taking the door card off.Now the sound quality: VERY VERY VERY GOOD, especially for a small car like mine the bass and overall quality of the speakers are just perfect, considering they are only installed in the front speakers, and the rear speakers are still stock, but the front speakers overwhelm the speakers in the back, you mainly only here the front setup.Overall impressed, you may just spend most of your time wiring or buying extra bits just to mount these speakers.

Jbl speakers
When I read the reviews someone gave it 1 star because of lack of connecting bits and something he had to tape back together.i ignored it.But when I opened the box and started fitting it I noticed one of the crossover units rattled had a look and it fell into 2 parts, looking at other one it also is in 2 bits.I just used insulation tape to keep the lids on.If it is going to bother you, make sure that you have time to send them back.I had 2 out of 2 sent to me brokenI knocked 2 stars off for the broken crossovers, but when it is working it sounds good .

Awesome Speakers, improved my car experience so much!
I purchased these speakers to upgrade my old set as they were broken in my SEAT, and the sound quality with these is awesome! Couldn't have hoped for a better new system!

Waste of time. Broken crossovers, no instructions or wires
The crossovers arrived with plastic rattling around inside, all 4 screw posts on each crossover had shattered, had to use duct tape to hold them togetherThe instructions are just a list of parts, no instructions given at all. Even the PDF from the JBL website just shows lovely line diagrams of the items in the box with little to no informationThe tweeters have about 5cm of wire attached and female spade connectors on the end. what's the point of that? The crossover has tiny holes for wire, not spade connections. No wire in the box or any method at all for that matter of connecting the crossover to the 6.5" Speaker.Avoid unless you have £££s to spend on the tools to finish JBL's job.

Good speakers but incredibly poor quality crossover.
The speakers sound great and will be a good upgrade for most cars. The crossover box however is awful quality. This is mentioned on a few other reviews so it's obviously a quality issue. The plastic that holds the circuit board in place was totally broken apart so it was rattling around inside the box. You definitely wouldn't want to fit it in a car like that. Luckily I have just purchased a glue gun as well so I was able to repair it myself as I was too far into the job, and didn't want to have to return it.I would also have liked slightly bigger terminals on the crossover as I really struggled with the wire I was using
