Is the lining metal or plastic?

The only plastic is the underside of the lid and the removable filter. Otherwise it’s a perfect, clean line design. Using filtered water from Brita for example (regular or rapid) removes enough minerals to reduce calcium deposits. It reaches full boiling about 45-1min faster than any of the top brands (I tested against the top 1-5 based on same volume).
