The best figure I own.
Since the price was low and I had been eying this one for a while, I couldn't turn it down. I own the D-Arts Zero and Figuarts Samus. I love both of them, but neither could prepare me for the amount of articulation in this figure. In terms of sculpt and articulation, this is by far the finest figure I own.First things first - This X is big. If you have D-Arts figures (Vile, Sigma [statue], Zero, or other X figures) this guy doesn't scale with them. He's head and shoulders taller than my Zero figure, which fans of Mega Man X will know is backwards. He stands about 6 inches tall, and can be made taller because his legs extend to allow even better posing. This design is aesthetically pleasing, and it'd be great to think they'll use it in a future game that isn't Marvel vs Capcom. The lines add a lot of intricacy and realism, and the addition of "machinery" is a real winner in my opinion. The sculpt is great and the paint job is impressive and accurate, all the way down to the many tiny words and symbols printed on him. Despite the fact most of it is hard to read, under intense scrutiny, it is indeed legible, and while I wouldn't have opted for warning labels on a self aware robot, there's something nice about them.Mine came about as new as it could come - box wrapped in tissue paper and figure covered in anti-scratch plastic which had to be removed. The plastic around his lower torso was a challenge to get off, but everything else was logical and easy to get into place. As the description suggests, there are die cast metal parts on him - specifically, the front of his legs and the front of his chest. I kind of wonder why they went for metal at all, since they could have likely kept the price down if they just used plastic and used metallic paint... but it's cool that they went with metal. It gives the figure a heft that it wouldn't otherwise have and it's neat to touch your figure of a robotic individual and feel the cold metal as you pose him. The weight his legs give make a lot of dynamic standing poses possible. And believe me, you can pose him as dynamically as you want. My first attempt at posing him was the classic "wall slide" pose that the D-Arts Zero can't achieve - this figure can match virtually any pose X was ever in during the games aside from death, and you can easily put him in a variety of iconic poses of other characters if you like. The one word of warning I have about this guy is that he's a little stiff. There are a lot of joints that I felt like I was going to break before I got them to move or open, but the more you move them around, the looser they tend to get. Because he's not part of the D-Arts line, don't expect him to work with any accessories from other figures, but he comes with some nicely sculpted buster shots. The buster does indeed light up with no modifications needed, but I don't find the red light too appealing with the shot parts attached.Overall, great figure. I'm surprised that TruForce didn't take the opportunity to produce a Zero in this series - perhaps they will one day?

Highly posable, hefty construction, and absolutely cool.
Let me start by saying that I almost didn't open it because it looked amazing even just in the box. But I did open it, and I spent time with it, enough to know that the figure is sturdy, heavy at the feet for obvious reasons, and outstandingly cool. Featuring an LED X-Buster, this cool reimagining of X's design is full of angles and cool features, such as the leg boosters.I could gush about it forever but I'm gonna just get the bad thing out of the way. The legs are not very articulate at the joint where it connects to the body, as in they only move two ways, making some poses literally impossible. But that's not really a big deal. Getting X in that kneeling position proved to be a real challenge until I realized what aspect we were looking at, and then I decided I didn't want to use it that way.But back to the good, and I'm not taking a star away from this because of that one issue. Whatever you wanna do with it, it's got everything you need to accomplish that. I loved how well the arms moved and posed, and I loved how the weight in the legs allowed me to make outlandish fighting poses for fun before I settled for the picture I will attach. The LED buster is also super cool. The only thing I absolutely want is an armor version for X's X2 armor.

A fresh new take on Mega Man X
What a dynamic figure! So detailed and sleek! This figure is incredibly posable, with fine details such as warnings on his legs and back that are easy to read, yet small enough that it doesn't distract from his overall design.A feature I didn't expect was that his legs can extend a bit further to accommodate certain poses. His knees have a hidden piece underneath the top of his boots that helps him bend his legs a little more than would normally be possible.X's weight seems to be mostly in his boots, making him easy to balance on unstable places that most average figures normally would fall over on. It makes him hard to pose in certain positions with the stand included, such as a dashing pose, but other than that, he can do pretty much anything. The X-Buster shots can be combined with each other. It's a neat feature, but it makes his arm too heavy to pose when combined. The clear, plastic extension piece sometimes gets stuck on the first shot when disassembling them, making it a little difficult putting the pointed piece back on.The X-Buster's LED light is fairly bright, and shines through the shot attachments, although it becomes more dim when you combine them.Overall, this figure is a must-have for any fan of the Mega Man X series. It's sleek, updated design makes X look much more futuristic than ever before!
