Works in all my devices
The battery may not last as long as the $6 single-use batteries, but it delivers consistent power for 3/4 of the duration of the copper tops. Charges fast, weighs less, two thumbs up.

Decent initial performance and compatibility.
The charger came with 4 rechargeable 9V batteries (8.4V fully charged, though they arrived at half charge). The charger can take both micro USB and USB-C though it only comes with a micro USB cable. In my testing both connectors are connected to the same input, and thus there is no charge speed benefit for USB-C.The charger recommends a 5V 2 amp charger, though the highest amp draw that I experienced from it was 1.15 amps when charging 4 batteries at the same time. The current draw fluctuates, largely due to the blinking LEDs to represent the charge level. Once the battery reaches 3 bars (3rd bar blinking) the charge rate will begin to drop which is standard for li-ion batteries.I have been searching for rechargeable li-ion 9V batteries for a while, as if you find ones that are fully compatible with the devices you use, then they are a far better value than quality alkaline 9V batteries. The main challenge is choosing between the two major types, and the issue is not all companies detail the circuitry used. In the case of these EBL 9V 600mAh batteries, they are using 2 3.7V li-ion batteries wired in series. At a full charge, they run at 4.2V, this is where the 8.4V rating comes from, but due to how li-ion batteries behave, they will quickly drop to around 3.8V per cell and then slowly drop to around 2.8V before a low voltage protection circuit will kick in. The discharge behavior also means that for the bulk of the 600mAh capacity, the battery will be in the mid 7V range. If your device can work down to 7V then you will get effectively 550 mAh worth of capacity out of these batteries, thus lasting longer than quality by around 20-30% on a single charge.A quality alkaline 9V battery will have a capacity of around 350-400mAh (common for Duracell and Energizer). Many cheap 9V batteries, such as the ones from a dollar store, will have less than 100mAh.Since it spends the vast majority of its time dropping from 7.9V to 7.1V, some devices will report a low battery level even though there is plenty of energy left. I chose this style of 9V battery because it is a simpler and cheaper internal design of 2 li-ion cells with no boost converter. While this means lower voltage, it also means no PWM noise that will cause issues with audio devices such as mics that use 9V batteries, as well as multimeters that use it, and IR thermometers that use it.Another type of rechargeable that can also have a slightly higher usable capacity, are ones that use a boost converter. Those will give a constant 9V output as long as the battery can supply anything between 2.8V and 4.2V. The problem with them is the use of a basic boost converter that runs all of the time. They have a fast self-discharge rate due to that (around 6 months), but for devices that have a narrow operating range, e.g., one that needs 9.7V (voltage of a new alkaline 9V battery) to 7.5V, and aren’t sensitive to line ripple, then those work well, but for everything else the 2 cell designs work best._____Pros:2 li-ion batteries in series rather than a DC to DC boost converter, thus we get a pure DC output rather than a PWM output, this is better for audio equipment.More capacity than a quality alkaline 9V battery.Decent but basic charger.Cons:Lower overall voltage compared to an alkaline 9V battery.Roughly 90% of its capacity is available in the 7.8-7.1V range, this means that any device that has a battery % remaining gauge that is designed around alkaline batteries, will be inaccurate on these batteries, even though these batteries will run those devices for longer than the alkaline battery.Rating:Overall so far, if I could give fractional scores, I would give this device 4.5 stars. It fits my needs very well for the select few devices I use it with, though it will not work in every use case that an alkaline 9V battery will work in, and that is due to no one making a pure DC li-ion 9V battery that can actually deliver 9V without using a boost or buck converter, and give a relatively linear output down to 5V to accurately match the behavior and battery gauges designed for alkaline 9V batteries.

it charges the batteries up to 8.5vdc
i expected 9v batteries to have 9v, however, this charger only charges to 8.5vdc. but the batteries last a long time.

Decent Basic-Function 9V Charger
The EBL 9V charger is designed to charge only rechargeable 9 volt batteries, whether lithium, NiMH or NiCd.You can use any brand, as long as it is rechargeable. The package includes four, lithium-ion, rechargeable 9V batteries rated at 600 mAh. EBL claims the batteries come pre-charged, but I needed to charge them when they arrived.EBL includes a short USB to micro-USB cable. You can use either a micro-USB or a USB-C cable to power the charger. Just be sure the power supply, for the USB cable, is at least 2 amps, as older 1 amp models won't provide sufficient power. There are four slots and you can charge one, two, three or four, simultaneously, even mixing brands and battery chemistries. The display has progress indicators for each slot and has charging, full-charge and error indicators. When you have the batteries inserted, they are held securely in place. You may find it difficult to remove the batteries if you have issues with your fingers, such as arthritis. You may want to use a non-metal spudger, (pry tool) from an electronics tool kit, gently, to assist removing batteries from the charger.I do have concern about the longevity of this charger. The manufacturer chose to use short, plastic tabs to hold the battery terminals against the contact points. Since you must prise the batteries to remove them from the charger slots, these tabs could easily break if you apply too much pressure.Still, the EBL 9V charger is light-weight, convenient and does a good job charging. This model does not seem to have a conditioning function. Partly charged batteries are "topped-off", rather than discharged/recharged. This should only be an issue if you rely on NiCd batteries, as these can suffer from memory effect.Overall this is a useful, handy and simple to use, basic-function device.

Good Batteries With A Good mAh Rating
I like this companies batteries as they seem to have the current rating as advertised. And I like this companies chargers. They work good and do a good job of giving feedback on the level of charge. I have bought many sets from this company and if needed I will buy them again.

Seems fine
I got this pack to upgrade the alkaline 9v batteries in our various devices that still use them. Primarily, I got them to use for the battery backups in our adjustable bed and power chairs. The batteries charge pretty quickly and they fit in everything that they need to fit into. I like that the charger is USB powered, meaning I can plug it into a power bank, computer, or wall adapter to charge. I don't expect to get as good of life as alkaline batteries between charges, but the nice thing is that I can recharge these when needed and put them back into service, saving garbage in a landfill. I am not disappointed by this purchase.

No buzz sound from guitar
The only thing I was concerned about while doing research was not working well with my music gear. So far so good, no buzz from my guitar with active pickups. Will update later about battery life. Also it comes with micro usb cable but has spot for usb C for charging. Thumbs up.

Fire Hazard Beware!
Purchased 4/24 first time I used it 1/25 .noticed a strange smell like wiring burning.one battery and the unit was melting. Luckily I found it before it ignited.Do not purchase this item .
