Outstanding- for me, better than Victor Cheng book and Case in Point
I don't normally leave reviews but I'm really grateful to the writer for this book. I found it clear, and concise, which replicates the calm structured mindset you need for your case interview. Every word has its purpose, and I found it super-helpful. This was also the book I turned to the night before the interview, as a useful revision. I also used the Case Study workbook by the same author. Of the three books I book, I'd put this one first, then Case in Point, then the Victor Cheng book which seems to want to make you feel less empowered so you buy his products.

100% recommended
I can only send a big Thank you to the author! This book helped me land an MBB offer after having previously received several rejections post-interview. Prior to coming across this book I had worked with Case In Point as well as Case Interview Secrets. While both books had left me "feeling" prepared, I never truly performed during the real interviews as the approach taught lacks intuition and creativity. Taylor's approach teaches you exactly that - an organic, natural and creative way of targeting the case. In addition, I invested in both the workbook and the online course. This is not at all sponsored but do yourself a favour and get these materials! It will be worth it.

Fun to read while covering all critical components of a case
This book is a must-read for aspiring consultants. It is fast and painless to get through while still providing all of the important skills and techniques needed to excel at case interviews. The first part of the book takes you through the overall structure and different parts of a case, and the second part provides 5 well-written practices cases that you can go through on your own or with a partner. In the first part, Warfield breaks down the key components of a case (e.g. intro, framework, quantitative questions, qualitative questions, conclusion) and details best practices for each area. He presents the most efficient and effective ways to excel and won’t waste your time belaboring the points or providing irrelevant methodologies. However, you will still walk away with knowing how to solve any type of case in the best way.In the second part, the book provides 5 practice interviews that mimic those you may see at a first or final round interview in any top consulting firm. They vary in difficulty from easier to more challenging, and will test all of the components analyzed in the first part. By the time you get through them, you’ll have a good sense of the different types of cases you’ll get during interviews and how to handle each section.I highly recommend this book, no matter where you are in the interview process. Even those who have done some case interviews and have read other case books can find it helpful to have the core information clearly and concisely presented. Beginners will also be able to walk away with a great foundational skill set for handling all kinds of cases.
