The patterns are pretty. I would rate the difficulty at novice level. I wouldn't recommend this for a true beginner but if you know a few basic stitches this would be fine. My main problem with this kit is that the patterns are printed in pale yellow which makes it difficult to see. I've completed one of the patterns and started on a second but I'm not sure I'll finish due to the difficulty with seeing the pattern. I don't usually need reading glasses to embroider but I did need them for this kit so I took a star off for the pale yellow color choice.

I love this! This is my third type of embroidery kit. The threader it comes with is so stinking cute. It also came with this little scissors, perfect for these projects.The only thing is that photos it shows they are so big in the living room, don’t believe that.

The only shortcoming of this product is that the print on the fabric is very light to see.

Easy to read directions, clear pattern and plenty of thread

I purchase this product as a hobby to keep myself busy. Embroidery was a hobby for my mom too..now that she has passed I feel close to her while sewing. I like that even if you are trying this art of sewing for the first time it is so easy to learn, and the packaged instructions are so easy to understand. Happy sewing😊

Pattern was so badly printed on cloth making it impossible to follow.

There is one cotton thread not enough. I have to find my inventory to finish the flower in the orange pattern. The colour of print is orange that is too light to see, especially the tiny parts of pattern. Blue or green will be better. The density of cotton fabric is lower than the other product I bought. It left a bigger holes every time I use the needle.
