You can only fit 20 wrenches on this. It has 20 spots, you need both rails to support the wrench... ?

It comes as a pack of 4 rails, two sets of rails for 20 wrenches each set.

How big of a wrench can this hold?

The largest wrench I have on this rail is a 19mm but it can hold bigger. Bigger wrenches would require the rails to be spaced further apart just as smaller wrenches would require the rails to be moved closer together. I am happy with my purchase.

Are the magnets strong enough to work through a drawer liner?

Yes very sturdy even more once the weight of the tools is applied, good quality

It says the are .875” tall, but lots of reviews say around 1.5”. So how tall are they?

The image you are referring to is hard to understand. The wrench organizer features a series of "points" and "grooves". The top "points" are approximately 1.5 to 1.8 inches in height. The "grooves" are approximately .875 inches in height. Please don't hesitate to contact us with more questions.
