Great accessory for iPad Pro with magic keyboard
My apple pencil was often left at home when I would take my iPad places because it would get knocked off and I didn't want to lose it. This holder was a solution for my concerns! The metal portion of the holder holds to the iPad and is secure in between the case and the iPad. However, it would not be secure enough on its own to stay on the iPad securely for transport without a magic keyboard case. It holds the pencil securely and allows for charging so I no longer worry about losing it.Pros: works as expected with a magic keyboard, holds pencil securely and allows for charging, easy to access pencil for use, matches nicely as an accessory to the magic keyboard, good value compared to replacing a lost pencil.Cons: not secure enough to use without the magic keyboard case (it is not intended for use without the case, so this is not really a con, more of a cautionary warning).

Not perfect for 12.5" iPad pro
I like the easy-charge Pencil2 but always worry about losing it. This solves the problem, by protecting the pencil in transport. It holds very well to the iPad case and really well with the magic keyboard.Unfortunately, on the largest iPad Pro, the place where it needs to be located to charge the pencil is the one place this product doesn't stick firmly - I expect it will be fine on a smaller iPad When used with the Magic Keyboard, it holds the pencil in the charging spot well. When you take the keyboard off, it holds . . . well enough. Certainly better than just having the pencil there alone, but the spot you need it to charge the pencil is the least secure location on your iPad. It's just where the magnets are.I solve the problem by moving the unit to the top of the iPad when I don't have the magic keyboard on (portrait mode). It holds very solidly there. If I need a charge, I just put it on the side. It's just a small annoyance.

Good option for Apple Magic Keyboard!
This product really helped to solve a problem that I didn’t anticipate having in the first place! My husband was so sweet and surprised me with a brand-new iPad Air and the (crazy expensive!) accessories of the Apple Magic Keyboard, and the Apple Pencil Pro to go along with it. I was super stoked, right up until I realized that the magic keyboard case/keyboard for the iPad didn’t come with any sort of storage option to secure the Apple Pencil Pro to the iPad to make sure it doesn’t get knocked off and/or lost.We won’t get into the fact that for the combined price point of these items, that’s pretty crazy that Apple didn’t think about it during their product design, but instead, let’s focus on the awesome solution that this affordable little Spigen gizmo brings!First, here’s the specific products I’m using it with:- Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 11" (M2) - White- Apple Pencil Pro - White- Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M2) 256GB - PurpleWhat I liked:- Easy to attach the holder to my case, and to put the pencil in/out of the holder. And as long as you’re intentional about how you position it, the pencil will connect with the iPad and charge, while secured with the holder.- Both the holder and the pencil are secure once placed together with the case and iPad. I can shake the case around, turn upside down, toss in my purse, etc. and they remain attached as intended.- It’s a good color match between the Apple products’ white color and the white of the holder, making it feel like a seamless part of the case visually.Less than perfection elements:- To be clear, this is a great product and overall I have zero complaints!! As far as a few tiny areas for optimization I thought it was worth noting the minor imperfections for fair comparison.- The actual mechanism to attach this holder relies on a thin metal piece that is able to interact with the existing magnets within the apple case to hold it in place. This also means that the magnetic charging strip down the side of the Apple Pencil is attracted to the metal plate, which can cause a little extra effort to make sure the pencil is oriented to connect to the charging strip on the iPad, versus the metal piece on the holder.- The holder is very secure when the iPad and case are sandwiched on either side of it, but in the event that you take the iPad off of the case, the holder isn’t able to stay in place in its intended position due to the fact that the main magnets to hold things in place are just slightly right and left of its metal plate. So in order to keep the holder with the case without an iPad, you have to scoot it to the right or left of center, which means that the pencil won’t automatically be in the correct position to charge when you put the iPad back on, and you have to remember to reposition it. It’s not a big deal, just something to make note of.

Protect your investment!
Universal truth: Apple products are amazing, but they are not cheap. I love that my Apple Pencil 2 recharges by magnetically. I also love the Apple Magic Keyboard for its functionality and design. Unfortunately though, the design of the Magic Keyboard leaves the Apple Pencil vulnerable to drops or even outright loss. Frankly, I’m surprised Apple didn’t offer a solution of their own.But that’s where this product comes saves the day. The design of this product combined with the magnetic hold of the iPad/Pencil secures the Apple Pencil and protects it from accidental drops or loss. Since I made this purchase, I haven’t yet dropped or dislodged the pencil. It is consistently safe and sound, charging on the edge of the iPad, exactly where it’s supposed to be.The design of this product is strong, light, and sturdy. This was a purchase well worth the money. I enthusiastically recommend it!

Slips off easily; pen too easily dislodged
Pros: Can be magnetically attached or detached, holds pen a little more securely than the iPad's magnetCons: Is not super stable and moves around, pen too easily dislodged

Love this thing
I don’t know what I’d do without this. It’s SUPER low profile under my apple folio case, and it does its job well. I’ve had it for a year or two, and it’s still working fine!It does slide around a bit, but the pencil holds it in place pretty well. Sometimes I have to fix it if I carry my ipad in my big tote bag, but it’s totally fine if it’s in a laptop/tablet pocket.
